I stayed at Mestil for the first time for about 27 days in Nov-Dec 2023. I was a bit nervous because I was so used to staying at the Serena and being closer to town. But I had a wonderful experience! I was in a one bedroom apartment and it was so spacious and beautiful. All of the staff were excellent, especially Anne at the front desk, Joyce the housekeeping manager, Carol the housekeeper for my apartment, and Akim in the restaurant made me feel so comfortable and really went out of their way to accommodate all requests! I always saw staff working to keep the grounds clean and nice. The gym was also really nice and comfortable. It was really easy for Ubers to get in and out and I ordered food a few times and it was easy for the drivers to find it. Traffic wasn't too bad in and around the property despite there being quite a bit of construction in progress when I was last there. I will be returning to Mestil in Jan 2024 for about 7 weeks and looking forward to staying there again!

My review is over due but however better late than never. My family and I had an excellent stay at Méstil.The location was perfect, This hotel and residence is so homely away from home but at the same time still giving that vibe of a holiday getawayThe staff are very friendly and so helpful ,most especially Patrick at the reception ( we called him uncle Patrick because he sorted out everything we always request for like a real uncle👍thank you so much .My reservation experience was so well handled by Ms Sheila and I’m so grateful for that. The rooms are are modern , spacious and clean. The hotel is also located on a hill that provides beautiful views of Kampala city and other hilly suburbs.The food is very delicious, the breakfasts and dinners we had were very professionally prepared . Just one small advice , The staff in the kitchen should not take long to serve the food. Much as it’s worth the waiting because it’s delicious and in huge portions, it’s never a good thing to Keep your guests hungry and anxious. But overall, I will highly recommend .

My family & I, stayed at the residences for a weekend and ideally it was splendid. beautiful place that I can recommend to others. I have grown up loving hospitality. I love treating people with a smile, so i decide to apply to train with the hotel but my beautiful dreams ended in vain after meeting the Human Resources, Racheal. I'm very sorry but she was very rude, very helpless, very unpassionate.

I liked the division of blocks as it promoted safety and privacy. This made my whole stay at the hotel. Our suite had big spacious rooms enough which came in handy as it was quiet a few of us, very clean straight from check-in and so fantastic that house keeping maintained that throughout our entire stay. That live band is still memorable, professional staff like Monica I am extra thankful for them, she took very good care of us regardless of us being far at the restaurant terrace, Rogers at the pool made sure our orders were brought in a timely manner even though it felt like he had to travel miles. So thank you Rogers. Junior was so exceptional, very professional from the way he welcomed us at the reception of the health club, to how he made sure that we got the best experience at the steam and sauna. He also check on us regularly and illustrated extensive assistance, Junior was so hardworking and always made sure that we were comfortable and in a cleaner environment as well. This type of staff really made Mestil excel above other facilities in Uganda and I definitely recommend anyone looking for a place to stay whilst visiting Uganda. Thank you to everyone.
