ZARA GARDENS WAS AN EXCELLENT HOTEL CHOICE AND THE STAFF WERR SO HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. THE ROOMS WERR SO COMFORTABLE AND THE BED AND PILLOWS WERR ESPECIALLY COMFORTABLE

I had my wedding reception at this hotel, where I booked the entire event space and paid for the food. The operations manager, Miriam, repeatedly altered the pricing and demanded cash payments. On the event day, the space was dirty and not properly set up, and they allowed other people into the area despite it being reserved solely for my event. The day after checking out, I inquired about any outstanding charges and was informed there were none. However, a few hours later, Miriam called me with threats, claiming an additional 600,000 Ugandan shillings was owed. This was both shocking and absurd—how could they claim I owed money after I had already checked out? When I returned to the hotel to speak with the general manager, the staff informed me he was unavailable and were hesitant to provide his name. I managed to find his contact information through a quick online search and discovered he was at the hotel the entire time. Having traveled extensively and stayed at many hotels, I have never encountered such a level of incompetence. I had high hopes for this hotel and venue but I wouldn't even stay here for free.

Zara Garden Hotel is truly one of the best, if not the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are lovely and spotlessly clean, the beds, super comfortable and the shower so warm and comforting. Really not a bad word to say about the hotel. However, what makes the hotel what it is, is the staff. They are an absolute joy - they provide personalized service, they know you by name and they remember your preferences all while smiling and genuinely caring for your comfort during your stay. This level of personal service is rare and amazing. My stay would not have been what it was without the amazing staff. My thanks to each and every one of you. Thanks everyone! Amazing services and facilities. The staff are friendly and warm, always ready to support and ensure I feel at home. The food at the Rose Garden restaurant is delicious, I have never been disappointed with my choices. My personal favourite are the rooms, the house keeping team makes everyday feel like the checkin day with a high standard of quality and cleanliness. I also love that they have the comfiest bed with soft fluffy pillows - best sleep a hotel can offer.
