Un hotel carino con sostanzialmente cinque stanze ampie. Un bel giardino con una piscina che favoriscono condizioni di relax. Gli standard per quanto alti non rispettano certo in cinque stelle. Colazione a scelta tra locale e english breakfast…ma nel limite del possibile disponibili anche a variazioni (a noi hanno fatto delle crêpes). Possibile di pranzare in hotel (hanno un menu che viene consegnato all’arrivo è consigliato ordinare un’oretta prima considerando il numero esiguo di stanze e quindi la cucina lavora in maniera ridotta). Che dire, la location è molto carina, ma è in campagna e lontana dal centro e dalla spiaggia, sulla riva di un grande stagno; non l’ideale per chi come noi pensava che avrebbe trascorso due giorni al mare dopo il giro delle montagne dello Sri Lanka. Detto questo, tutto perfetto: dalla camera grande, spaziosa, con bel terrazzo con vista sul giardino dell’hotel, al letto grande e comodo, ai cuscini morbidi, all’arredamento spartano ma funzionale. Un supporto per appoggiare una valigia ci sarebbe stato bene. Cena on demand à la carte, da ordinare per tempo, servita su un terrazzino con vista su giardino e piscina piccola ma invitante; scelta vasta e qualità del cibo ottima, sia come materia prima che per la preparazione. Anche la colazione è on demand, ma tranne i prodotti da forno cui noi occidentali siamo abituati, c’è tutto quel che si vorrebbe poter avere. Il personale è squisito, disponibile, efficiente e rapido.

Modern boutique hotel. Room spacious and clean in a modern style with a large bathroom. Property has 5 rooms to give a private and personal experience along with a nice pool and good lakeside garden and location. The rice & curry in particular was outstanding. The staff will go that extra mile to make your stay comfortable and thanks to them for meeting us at the station and assisting with our forward journey to Tangalle. Will definitely recommend.

Een fantastisch nieuw hotel, net 4 maanden oud. Een mega grote kamer en badkamer met inloopdouche, lekker ontbijt, mooi zwembad en liggend aan water, hele vriendelijke en behulpzame staff, ze kunnen je zelfs naar de bezienswaardigheden rijden met hun auto. Zeker aan te raden!

The hotel is fairly newly opened so there were still a few teething issues but nothing major. A small hotel (we were the only guests) which is actually quite refreshing. The staff were so friendly and hospitable. My partner and I only had breakfast and it was very good. We went whale watching very early in the morning which meant we would have missed breakfast but the hotel were more than happy to extend breakfast time for us. Minor recommendation would be that we were never offered the option of our room to be cleaned between days which was debriefed to the hotel manager. Overall - I would recommend this place.

Luxury with great staff. A really nice and small hotel, with wonderful staff. It is a little off the ***** but it means it is calm and peaceful. The kitchen is strong, good breakfast and we had dinner one night which was nice. Key thing, the staff don’t want to rip you off, they want to help you get a good deal. If all tuktuks are gone and asking for triple, the manager just drives you himself! Lovely spot.
