Good stay, ask for room on Level 2 road facing, bathrooms are bit out of maintenance, room is ok

Had a lovely time coming to this property. Very adjusting and very accommodating. The staff were very kind and allowed us to use the banquet hall for half an hour for our dance practise. Overall we had a lovely experience and intend to come here more often

This hotel is dreadful, although we were told it was one of the best in Hampi! Reception was dirty and our room was dirty, not just dusty but with a layer of filth over everything. One of the previous occupants had spilt sticky drink on one of the bedside 'tables' which was never cleaned up and most of the furniture was falling apart, although the bits that were in one piece were clearly just random bits of ply nailed together.

Zahid who is a Restaurant Manager services is remarkable and all my clients like his wonderful service. Doing hard work always. I saw him that he is doing all works................. ...... ............ ................. .....................

We were really disappointed with Clarks Inn. From arrival to departure our stay was really substandard. Maybe you get what you pay for, … but we experienced really poorly trained staff who just did not seem to understand the concept of customer service both in the restaurant or at the reception desk. Honestly - we don’t expect much - just service with a smile and somebody who will respond to a request when asked and wants guests to feel - well - like guests! We both picked up a stomach bug while staying here … I cant be sure it came from the hotel but a glimpse into the kitchen didn’t fill me with confidence. The hotel does have an indoor swimming pool with an open roof. I used it briefly … but there is no place to sit and unwind after a swim apart from a few plastic chairs scattered around. And my used towel remained by the side of the pool for the duration of my stay. In the “restaurant” there is a poster that says “The secret ingredient is always love” : sadly we didn’t experience any love at Clarks Inn.

An average property with average amenities. Looks can be deceptive. Poorly appointed. The fittings and furnishings are giving way, especially the bathroom fittings barely operate properly. There is continuous leakage in the bathroom. You never know when the water will run out. Door knobs and locks are also giving way. Food is just average. Tea bags and other sachets are always in short supply. You have to keep on asking and reminding for them. Front office staff was co operative and efficient. Hotel does not have parking of its own and vehicles are parked outside. Only plus point - centrally located. Ideal for group tours only and not for individual tourists. Very highly priced.

Maybe you get what you pay for, but we did not pay for food poisoning (Masala Omelette at breakfast) or really poorly trained staff who just did not seem to understand the concept of customer service both in the restaurant or at the reception desk. Honestly - we don’t expect much - just service with a smile and somebody who will respond to a request when asked. As for the food poisoning, my wife suffered very badly for 48 hours. The hotel does have an indoor swimming pool with an open roof. I used it briefly … but there is no place to sit and unwind after a swim apart from a few plastic chairs scattered around. And I did have to think twice about getting into the water for the obvious reasons. In the “restaurant” there is a poster that says “The secret ingredient is always love” : sadly we didn’t experience any love at Clarks Inn.

We stayed here 3 nights while visiting Hampi. The location was across the street from the museum. The room was ok but could have used a deep clean. There were lots of families staying there so it was a bit noisy. Our room faced the pool and even though the pool is closed at 7pm, some people sat around the pool chatting til the wee hours with no regard for other guests. Once we complained to the staff, they dealt with the noise makers. Wifi was not great.

We have stayed at clerks in Hampi It is located at central place and all sites / monuments are nearby form this place They also served good food It is one of the few best options in hampi Staff is very polite and helpful I would also appreciate Zaaid who has been also guided us on sites to be visited in addition to he has been servicing us delicious food I do also appreciate the other staff at the reception counter including pinki You may choose to stay here if visiting hampi

Stayed here for 3 nights from 25/11/24 to 28/11/24. Hotel location is very good, bang opposite the Archeological Museum and on main road. This is one the very few decent accommodation available in Hampi. Room decent, size a bit small. Linens very clean. Towels clean, Decor Ok. Would have been better if they had placed a box of tissue in the room. Toilet size good. Only issue was water pressure in wash basin which was low. Hotel has central water heating. Capacity of heater has major issues as during peak hours (7.30Am - 10AM) you won't get hot water as most of the toilets are operational and the heater is unable to heat water fast. We had to literally boil water in electric kettle and used bucket and mug for bathing. Else plan to shower early morning before 7 am then you will get hot water directly ( we realized during the day we checked out, since we were leaving early) or during non peak shower usage time. Breakfast which was included is OK, not much variety (neither expected considering price paid). Food in restaurant is pricey but good to eat. Perhaps this is the only decent eating place. Other restaurants which we could see walking close by areas were not up to the standard considering hygiene and appearance. Private parking available in basement which was good for us. If you need local auto for sight seeing, ask them for a guy named Srikanth, they will call him. This guy is very good. He is not only an auto driver but he will be your tour guide too. Overall recommended for staying with family.

Had an amazing dining experience in the Bridge dining restaurant at Clark's Inn Hampi. The staff were very politely and friendly. Zaheed, Pinky and Muskaan need Special mention due to their professional attitude. They catered to all our requests with patience. The ambience and food quality were excellent. Would definitely recommend my friends and relatives. Keep up the good service. All the best.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during my recent visit to Hampi, and while it's often touted as one of the better options in the area, my experience left a lot to be desired. The staff was courteous, but unfortunately, the service was extremely slow, likely due to understaffing, be it the hotel room or the restaurant. This was evident, as the staff appeared overworked, which made me feel sympathetic toward them. One of the major issues I encountered was with the bathroom. Despite complaining on the first day about shower area water flowing into the dry area, making the bathroom wet at all times, no action was taken to address the problem. The staff mentioned they would look into it and possibly change my room, but that never happened. This situation was particularly concerning since I was traveling with elderly parents, and the wet floor posed a safety risk. Additionally, I found the bed linens and towels stained, which is unacceptable. This hotel definitely feels more like a 2-star property than anything higher. While I understand a hotel room can’t replace your home, basic cleanliness and necessities can’t be compromised. Simple things like ensuring tissue rolls are replaced before they run out and providing bath rugs without having to ask for them should be basic standards. Housekeeping should be more proactive in addressing these needs. Though the hotel itself is decent and in a good location near Hampi, the lack of attention to maintenance and the slow service made it difficult to fully enjoy my stay. I hope the management takes these issues seriously for future guests.

First room we were shown smelled like moth balls, the carpet was extremely dirty. We asked for a new room. 2nd room smelled better but the shower still smelled because it had a mothball in it. This room had an air freshener stinking up the room but we were able to unplug it so the smell wasn’t so strong. We had trouble signing onto the wifi and called the front desk for help. They said they would send someone up but they never did. On our second night there, after seeing the temples all day, we came back to the same room we left in the morning, except the towels were gone so we know the cleaners were in the room but they never bothered to clean the room. On top of all this, I got bites very badly all over my back and shoulders. My partner didn’t so we don’t think they were bed bug bites, we checked under the mattress and didn’t see any of the nasty critters. Breakfast was ok and had a variety of dishes and the staff were very good. The hotel was very busy with many families there. At midnight one night, we had to call the front desk to complain about the noise the other guests were making. The positives of the place, there is an indoor pool which is nice after a hot day visiting the temples and the pool was clean. There’s no elevator but there are only 2 floors.

Great Location. Staff is helpful. Decent rooms nut need pest control treatment. Overall comfortable Stay. They also have sleeping facilities for drivers. It is a big help. Food is acceptable. Buffet BF spread is good. However we were surprised not finding some local delicacies and filter coffee on the food menu.
