I stayed in the hotel with my family and had two rooms for couple of days, overall the experience was “Average”, I come from a hospitality background and hence understand the nuance of service. The hotel as a property is beautiful and very central land near to the market, it is a big plus for the property, it is very scenic, view is good not from the room but outside once you go to the cafe restaurant. I found food to be descent with very good F&B staff, responsive and delightful, personalisation was the key. Front Office, very Mediocre and Mechanical in their approach, the check in experience was poor, the saving grace was ok checkout where they were still ***ageable. I mean people spend money and when you look at that kind of staff who are just looking to finish their duty and dump the customer in their room, it calls for some folks to really keep a check. All and above it’s a mixed bag for me, with the plus point being the property and its rooms ***** with Food and Beverage but I would not like to come back and see that kind of FO staff, looking forward to find better places in Kalimpong next time.
