This was such a wonderful experience! The welcome from these inn keepers was like family and we felt so comfortable in our room, and about the house. It was cleanliness to the max. The bed was more comfortable than ours at home and I loved the sheets. The woodwork was beautiful. The ceilings and light fixtures breathtaking. We felt we were on the set of Meet Me in St. Louis! It was authentic and full of history but at the same time felt new and current. For instance the bedding and in the dining area, it wasn’t old and fussy, but really upbeat in its clean decor styling. We walked everywhere and enjoyed the outstanding architecture and friendliness of the town. At the Inn they have thought of everything to accommodate a wonderful experience. And the breakfasts were out of this world! It was like going to a five star restaurant! We recommend Kalamazoo House for a memorable getaway for sure! There was a joy like “sunny blue skies” over that house.

My husband and I felt like we walked back in time at this beautiful bed and breakfast. The house is gorgeous! It was quiet and we spent a lot of time in the parlor. Amy and Jeff were wonderful hostesses and made us feel most welcome. Loved the festive Halloween decorations.

I stayed once a week for six weeks as I had early mornings at Kalamazoo Institute of Arts next door. I chose the Muskegon room which I had never stayed in. The small room is very comfy and the easy chair perfect for reading and working on my ipad. As I have to leave before the 9am breakfast, they pack me a ToGo meal. Amy and Jeff are the perfect hosts. I always enjoy my stays at the beautiful Kalamazoo House!
