Frustrating check in experience. Cancelled first booking, and then we left an item at the hotel, they will not respond to requests for help to find the item. Poor hotel.

Excelente lugar En general fue una experiencia genial, el manager del hotel súper amable y la atención en la playa genial, las chicas del Restaurant no son muy amables, un poco despistadas y regularmente no están de buen humor, quitando esas personas yo recomiendo el hotel 100%

Beautiful facilities! Beautiful room, very helpful and courteous staff. Concierge were my 2 favorites. Helped me plan my day and always available for questions and requests. Management was attentive and provided a personal touch with attention to detail. Came for some quiet R&R and that’s exactly what I got. Will definitely return to share experience with loved ones. What a gem!

The rooms and property are great. Very clean. The beach is beautiful. The website says there are 3 bars - there is one main bar, a second that is open for a couple of hours and the beach bar was never opened. The site also says there are 2 restaurants. For dinner there is just one. Also the beach and dining area has a crazy amount of flies where it made eating stressful. The staff although very nice seemed overwhelmed and the dining area was always chaos as no one knew what was going on. The team is not familiar with how to make mixed drinks and basic ingredients were not there. I.e. the whole week they did not have tomato juice to make bloody Mary’s even tho the menu said so. The staff is very kind however need some training.

Beautiful resort. Some of the best beaches we have ever seen. Staff were so helpful and friendly. It was very quiet when we were there at the end of October but I guess that’s just the season. We had. 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite with lounge diner and wraparound balcony. The accommodation was immaculately clean and cleaned twice daily. We’d recommend it.

Scadente Struttura bella, camere belle. Colazione e servizio indecenti. Lentezza e inefficienza totale. Cibo nella media per costi esorbitanti. Personale gentile ma troppo poco efficiente. Non consiglierei.

Adriano and Bancroft were super friendly and welcoming. When I checked in at 5pm and interacted with both hosts, I couldn’t stop smiling. Excellent service, they’re both very detailed and charming. Ambience and aesthetics - 10/10. Would stay at Tamarind every given opportunity.

Our 5 night stay was so wonderful. Every one of the staff was so pleasant and welcoming and there to help with anything. We stayed in a one bedroom suite room which was located at the top of the hill. The mix of stairs and hills to walk was no joke but I will say the views from our room were so beautiful and probably nicer than the lower rise. They do have a shuttle but we opted for the exercise to work off all of the drinks and food. The beach was so gorgeous and clean. The location of the resort isn’t very walkable but there are a few things in walking distance that we checked like Dennis Beach Bar on Fryes Beach, Darkwood Beach and Aunti Cavells across the street. Otherwise the resort will arrange for a taxi to go anywhere. Shaine was our taxi driver and he was always available and very knowledgeable about the area and island. Jolly Harbour was the closest “town” that had the grocery store, bank machine and some good restaurants which was only about 5 min car ride. We checked out all of the areas on the island and agreed this location was the best. You can get to English Harbour in 35-40 mins for a day trip or go up to St Johns in 25-30 mins. This side of the island has the sunsets and they are absolutely beautiful at Tamarind Hills. If you want to be close to the action I would recommend staying more in Jolly Harbour but if you want a beautiful resort, beach, views, etc. Tamarind Hills is a great option. We would absolutely book again and would recommend to anyone.
