Wingate by Wyndham Joliet

Booked for one night, after a long drive from Minneapolis on the way to Detroit. Hotel was clean, in excellent shape brightly lit and in a convenient location, I would stay here again.

Overall, it was a good stay. The smell in the hallways was not good and it bled into our room, but a little fabreeze fixed it quick!

The outside of the hotel was very neat. There are benches if you want to sit outside.The hotel is in a quiet area with a McDonald's almost across street. Good location-Golden Corral was only a few minutes away. The staff person (male) who checked us in was not friendly at all. He should consider a career change. The lobby was neat. Our room was clean and comfortable. I got a text right after we checked in saying I should text back if there was a problem. I texted back that the room safe was not working. I never got a response. We did not use the pool, but did see several other people using it.The breakfast was only average, with not a lot of food or drink options.The breakfast area was a nice size. There is a refrigerator and a microwave in the room, which is a huge plus. I would stay at this location again.

The property was clean and nice. Stayed 1 night even thur we were not in the hotel long, came for an event so in to change clothes and out back again at 2a.m.. Breakfast was ok, check out was easy

The cleanliness could have been better. Hair from previous people in the sink and tub. Trail of ants by the baseboard of the wall. Checked out a day early and because I booked through ******* (a third party). I wasn’t able to receive a refund for that day

Two thumbs up Room was clean and beds were comfy. My room was right across from the elevators and I didn’t hear anything. Never heard the planes for being right next to the airport. Hot Breakfast was just ok — better than continental and fair for cost of rooms. Lots of options and I felt like I ate plenty but didn’t enjoy any of it. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff and housekeeping were joyful.
