We've been visiting Villa Lugano Guesthouse on several occasions for the past 10 years and most recently in July 2024. Eddie & Irma are fantastic hosts, and all ad-hoc requests are handled with the utmost professionalism. They go out of their way to make our stay ultra comfortable, from the moment we arrive. Rooms are spacious, tranquil, stylish, clean and fresh. No detail is spared, from the lovely coffee maker and treats on offer and wonderful selection of items in the breakfast dining room. Eddie is a thorough gentleman and go over and beyond to accommodate everyone. The cinema room is really classy and is ideal for watching a special sporting event and Eddie invited us to join him during a recent rugby match. He offered to order a meal, which was delicious and we really enjoyed it. I can highly recommend this guesthouse for leisure and business stays.

We always enjoy staying at Villa Lugano when we are visiting family in Johannesburg. The rooms are airy & light & beautifully furnished, the beds are very comfortable, the staff are friendly & welcoming & the breakfast each morning is delicious.

The rooms, common areas and gardens are beautifully executed with very kind and attentive hosts. Getting into the accommodation after hours was not an issue once we had checked in and there was ample parking available. All rooms have a balcony and offer privacy within a quiet and serene environment. The accommodation is very close to the golf course which has a lovely bar and restaurant to dine at overlooking the golf course and beautiful mountainous scenery. I would definitely stay at Villa Lugano again.

Dusty rooms,poor breakfast,over priced,delux rooms are extremely small - Owner was very polite and so was the staff....but just an unpleasant experience overall.

We are regular customers and always enjoy our stay at Villa Lugano. The owners are really caring and make sure that you feel very comfortable and at home. They also catered to our dietary needs! I would recommend to anyone who goes on a business trip to Johannesburg to stay at Villa Lugano.

My daughter wanted a venue where she could get ready for her Matric Dance and where she could take photos in a beautiful Roman themed venue. Villa Lugano was just that. Perfection. The location is safe and secure. 5-star service from checking in, communication and beautiful grounds for photos. The owners are friendly and welcoming. We absolutely enjoyed our experience.
