I visited Dylan cafe after good rating son trip advisor as a rooftop cafe with view of Mehrangarh fort. It was a shady, dirty and an awful place. We didn’t sit there to eat. Worst than a low category dhaba. Don’t understand why people rated it good. Truly misleading

Excellent location in the heart of Jodhpur and amazing views of the fort. The roof terrace is a great place to chill out. Rooms are basic but very clean, though the bathrooms need updating. Food was fresh, great quality and really good value. Salim and his team were so welcoming and friendly and really helpful in providing info or local contacts and recommendations. Salim also organised our vehicle to Jaisalmer including an overnight desert camel safari which was excellent - just two of us sleeping under the stars. Dinner and breakfast cooked over campfire - even learnt how to make chapatti. Highly recommend Dylan cafe if you are looking for accommodation or somewhere to just chill and have a drink or meal.

Jolie guest house avec des chambres simples et très propres. Bon resto sur le rooftop, vue féérique du fort surtout le soir. Le patron, Salim, grand fan de Bob Dylan, est aux petits soins. Possibilité de réserver des nuits sous les étoiles dans le désert environnant. Je recommande!

Superbe restaurant avec magnifique vue sur le fort. Cuisine savoureuse et personnel très compétent. Idéal à tout point de vue, je recommande vivement et reviendrai sans aucun doute. A deux pas du marché. Le gérant saura vous indiquer les principaux sites d'intérêt de la ville.

Well, when you apply a 3.5x premium to a room price compared to the week before/after because it is "very high" season, how should a customer react when he/she enters the room? For 1000 Rs it would have been an OK room. For 3500 Rs it is a rip off. -bed sheets were full of hair, body hair, and other stains. -you are literally hearing everything happening on the street as there are holes in the wall (for decorative purposes)- see pictures. Needless to say, very busy street. -the bathroom, therefore the room, smelled like an urinal because of the things they put in the sink, and elsewhere in the bathroom Worst of all: the manager invited me to sit on the rooftop one evening. 10 minutes later a couple arrived and the manager asked me to change table "so that I'll have a better view". Also he tried multiple times to cross sell other stuff to earn commissions. Spend your money elsewhere.

This guest house is very nice. The air-conditioned room may be a bit small but it offers everything you need for a pleasant stay. The highlight of this place is the roof top restaurant which offers a magnificent view of the Mehrangarh Fort. The food is also good, you must definitely try the banana and honey porridge!
