兩個朋友旅館

Un lugar genial. Buena habitación, buena cena... y piscina genial! Mención muy positiva al gimnasio, no esperaba encontrar uno así de bien preparado. He visto hoteles de 4 y 5 estrellas con peores gimnasios. Se nota que se han esforzado en tener lo mejor.

Das 2 Friends Gues House ist ein sehr nettes kleines Hotel in einem ruhigen Viertel von Jinja gelegen. Die Bungalows/Zimmer sind um einen kleinen, aber feinen Pool gruppiert und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, selbst ein Schreibtisch und eine Sitzgelegenheit mit Sofa und Tisch war in unserem Zimmer gegeben. Das Essen war gut und reichhaltig, das Frühstücksbuffet sehr umfangreich, obwohl wir fast die einzigen Gäste waren. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber, das Personal eher gemütlich unterwegs, aber sehr freundlich. Tolle Auswahl an Tonics und unterschiedlichen Gin-Sorten.

This lodge offers very spacious rooms with even a small kitchenette area with a microwave. Tea, coffee and a kettle are supplied in the room. Staff friendly and helpful. Very nice swimming pool and the lodge is located in a quiet neighbourhood. Food is average to good with a wide selection of teas and coffees! Only negative was that the food took very long to prepare or come to your table. We think it’s because the food is prepared at the next door restaurant?! We would recommend this lodge to all!

My family and I organised two day family getaway to Jinja and we spent one night stay at the “2 Friends Guest House Jinja” but I have to say that this is absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed at. Upon retreating to our hotel rooms for the night after a long day, a group of people decided to organise a party outside our hotel room by the pool area and for over three hours, they proceeded to play very loud music, jumped into the pool and held extreme loud conversations for most of the night. We attempted to contact the hotel management to resolve the noise issue but they ignored our requests on numerous occasions and I even noticed through our window that some hotel staff were facilitating this antisocial behaviour by serving these loud guests more alcohol whilst blatantly ignoring the fact these people were extremely loud and did not bother to ask these them to keep it down or politely vacate this open public space. What kind of hotel is this! I am utterly appalled and I would recommend all to avoid this place. The very worst.

The most affordable luxury stay in Jinja. Great staff, great food and rooms and ambiance. We had a great time here. Keep it up!

I stayed at 2Friends for 3 nights and it was great. I was made to feel sooo welcome by all. The public bar and restaurant has a great mix of guests, locals and expats. My room was by the pool ($115 per night) and was very clean and comfortable. The rooms next to the guest bar/restaurant are cheaper and the pool is 20 metres away. The public bar/restaurant has a fantastic pizzeria, the calzones were delicious. The bar stays open until the last man standing leaves but you don't here any noise in the rooms so it's perfect for any kind of guest. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and they provided me with a wealth of info and a good local map. The source of the Nile is about a 20 minute walk or 5 minutes by boda-boda. I will definitely be back :)
