La struttura è nuova, immersa nel verde della foresta pluviale. È suddivisa in una sezione con camere vere e proprie, un dormitorio con bagni condivisi e delle “tende” ossia delle cupole (dome), immerse nel bellissimo giardino dell’ ostello. Noi abbiamo alloggiato sia nel dormitorio che nella tenda: entrambi molto puliti e confortevoli. Le poche volte che abbiamo mangiato nell’ostello, siamo stati sorpresi da cibo molto buono e porzioni abbondanti per prezzi simili a quelli dei locali di Jinja. Il pezzo forte della struttura è però Nash, il proprietario: ci ha fornito tutte i suggerimenti per le attività da fare e ci ha aiutati ad organizzarle permettendoci di sfruttare al meglio il nostro tempo a disposizione a Jinja.

Jinja Backpackers is the best hostel I have ever stayed at! It has everything you could ask for: helpful staff, good food, great hangout areas both private and more spacious for socialising! The owner is super kind and you can tell that the owner has put in a lot of love and care for the place. If you ever go to Jinja, I would say it’s a must to stay at Jinja Backpackers.

We stayed four nights in the dorm at Jinja Backpackers. The room and wash rooms were very clean. The shower was super nice and had a lot of water pressure. The garden and lounging area were very calm and relaxing. Staff was very nice and we liked to hang out at the bar and very much enjoyed the food. Highly recommend.

Great facilities throughout the hostel. The place is clean and well kept. The city is a short walk away. Breakfast is tasty. Good value. There are both cabins/huts and shared rooms that should cover most needs. Staff were friendly and helpful.

If you are in Jinja: go to the Backpackers. We enjoyed our stay so so much: Nash and all the other staff is truly amazing, always open for a chat and willing to help you with activities you can do. We stayed in a ensuite double room and it was really beautiful- so is the whole place: The huge garden, the restaurant and the bar, all the little places you can sit and relax- or even work because there's WiFi everywhere. The food is great, especially the breakfast is amazing. They have 2 very friendly dogs and 2 nice cats. The location is perfect, it's quiet but also not far from town, the staff is more than happy to call an bodha for you, so you won't get overcharged. We can highly recommend the place, it's not too expensive and really worth a stay.

I loved my stay here. The rooms were spacious and green. I especially appreciated the staff who go above and beyond for the guests! I found the host Nash to be very welcoming and Ivan paid extra attention to us catering to our every need. The meals were excellentI will definitely be back!
