Overall our experience was just OK. I would look at other hotels before going here again. Pros -Good beds -Food - dinner - desserts -Wall plugs behind bedside tables and one in room by mirror (not always easy to find). Cons -Food - breakfast - was looking for some protein to fill me up but the scrambled eggs and egg “quiches” were cold and had no taste -Food - dinner - beef and chicken had little taste and were very tough and so chewy I often gave up and discreetly spat it out -No decaf coffee anywhere in hotel. (Though, to be fair, I think that may be common across Israel) -Extremely long walk to your room, almost 120 steps. Had to walk around all 4 sides of the floor, passing all but the last ~5 rooms. Usually if you walk all the way around you get back to the lobby but instead there was a wall. - Two staff, Minna and a male colleague, at reception were not helpful. When I approached they were just chatting with one another. Asked for their help finding the closest Teva and Naot stores (shoes made in Israel). I had looked up locations on my tablet but not sure if it was too far to walk in the heat. Would need to take our more local currency to pay for a cab. I asked several questions about distances and costs and even showed them my tablet after they refused my request to look for information on their computers. Every time Minna just shrugged her shoulders in indifference and said she did not know. Maybe she did not know but she certainly could have found out if she wanted to. They did absolutely NOTHING to help. And it was not busy. I was the only person at the reception
