Best Western Plus Jekyll Island

Interesting stay The atmosphere was amazing. We stay at Jekyll island all the time. We wanted to try another hotel for a suite feel and tried this one. Our room had a kitchen where roaches were coming out of the wall. I went to the service desk and asked to switch rooms and the guy who help was amazing. He immediately switched us to another suite. Our stay was fine after that and no roaches.

The staff, the room, pool and distance to the beach were all perfect. We had a wonderful time and will be back again for another vacation soon.

I likes the in kitchen suite. It was more than we needed. Couldn't put the privacy and pets in room notice on the door because they were magnets and the door is wood. Pet charge was $40 per pet per night which was excessive.

Eddie accommodated us when we requested a bathtub. Immediately, when I requested one, he found us a room with a tub. The room was spacious, clean and spot on! The bath tub was wonderful! Thanks Eddie! 🙏

I can tell the property is old and it has a certain smell to it. The sofa pillows need to be cleaned or replaced immediately. Overall it was clean, accommodating, safe, and comfortable but, it needs some reno

Eh. It was ok. Definitely a 3 star hotel. I had to clean the bathroom before using. Not the worst not the best. Very nice staff, though. This is not beachfront, it is across the street. Not a big deal but no views.
