wij hebben verbleven in jan thiel bed en bike slecht ervaring op zaterdagmiddag 19/10 receptioniste zat gewoon aan de bar. zich niet druk te maken iver de mensen die aan de receptie stonden. daarbij was de serveerster die achter de toog stoom zeer onvriendelijk en lachte ons gewoon uit komt lachend aan tafel en kan zelfs haar zin niet afmaken omdat ze aan het giechelen was zeer onprofessioneel!

Exécutée mais vaut le détour. Le lieu est fort joli, tous les services y sont. Piscine, vélo, restaurant, jeux, petit dépanneur. Cuisine commune aussi au besoin. Lieu sans prétention mais beau décors et belles chambres. Coût très abordable. Type Auberge de jeunesse, mais convenait parfaitement pour nous qui voyagions en couple avec un enfant. Chambre privative avec salle de bain privée. Bon service.

Very noisy place. The place is nice, the room are small but clean. Beds are very hard. Pool nice and clean. No coffee machine or fridge in the room. Good for young people because of the hostel kind of vibe. That means no respect of others at night, people partying until 3 am. Service at front desk is average. The food at the restaurant was terrible. The bikes condition was disappointing. Jan Thiel beach is disappointing too, you have to rent chairs for an exorbitant price. It is not a natural beach. Better off going to the public beach near Brisa do Mar restaurant. Very expensive for what you get.

It pains me to write this review, as most of my 5-day stay was splendid, and all of the other staff were lovely. However, on my friend and mine's final night, we had a roommate in the shared female dorm who told us that she had a lung infection (the day after she arrived, which was deeply inconsiderate). My friend, myself, and another roommate of ours went to ask the front desk if they could speak with her about possibly relocating. We were understandably concerned about someone having a respiratory illness while COVID is still very much present. The man who was working (he refused to give his name, but this was the evening of April 4th, 2023) went to speak with her and returned to the desk saying she said she just had a cold, even though she told us otherwise. I calmly explained to him that we were concerned she had serious COVID symptoms, and he immediately became defensive and quite aggressive with us. He shouted at me saying "COVID is over!" and said "What if I told you I had a lung infection? Would you accuse me of having COVID?" At this point, we became angry and explained that we weren't comfortable entering the room to get our belongings, including my mask, and I asked if he had a mask I could use which he responded by saying I could walk into town to the pharmacy (which was closed, since this was 9 pm) and buy one myself. I asked him what the hostel's COVID policy was, and he said they didn't have one, even though there was a poster next to the desk that explicitly required guests to report all symptoms. When I showed him the poster, he said I could call the public health authority number and laughed saying "It doesn't work though". He then said that the other guest had a negative test result, so I went into the room with a shirt over my face and asked her if she did and she said she did not (she was coughing aggressively when I came into the room). I finally became so aggravated that I told the man that I was willing to pay for the other person to have a private room (as it would be easier than me, my friend, and our other roommate moving out) and he said I was more than welcome. He then called security over to the desk to try and intimidate us, and after I stood our ground, he finally booked her into a private room (and thankfully didn't charge me). He never apologized to any of us, did nothing to clean or air out the room, and was absolutely the rudest hostel manager I have ever encountered in over 10 years of staying in hostels around the world. The fact that he is even employed by this establishment is shocking and should serve as a warning to other guests to look elsewhere when they stay in Curaçao.

We booked your family trip from July 18 till 26 we didn't when we're arrived it was not what we expected. We decided to not stay and spoke with one of the employee. We didn't even sleep even one night at they place and 3 days later they took all my money from my card. This is are they scam guest that was E fraud. We contacted the hotel and the manager they say they will not give us our money back. We are waiting on them to contact us ASAP and resolve this unpleasant experience.

We have spent 3 weeks staying at your facilities. *They stole our belongings from the refrigerator; 5 beers, juices and bread. In monetary value it is not relevant but the way in which the administration of the place reacted is. It is indicated that there are cameras which for the purposes of solving were not valid. It feels like someone can grab anything and take it and no one will do anything to stop it. It was reported to the Manager, 5 days before we left. We could not contact him on any of the days, strange hours or he was not present at the place. *Excessive staff turnover, every day someone different to resolve questions or problems, I understand that they are all interns for short periods of time. Employees are the visible face of the company. *No security at night. It was possible for outsiders to enter the facilities. In fact, there were strange movements at night as cars arrived, picked up things, and left. *Fights at night, there were people staying in the place who fought in the early morning. Since there was no one controlling it, I was able to understand that there were two nights that were impossible to sleep. No one to take responsibility. *On holidays, the state of the pool was deplorable. Even fries in it. The excuse was that the maintenance guys didn't come. the client pays for a service not for excuses. Ditto the issue of the garbage accumulated next to the kitchen for 4 days.
