Breakfast was tasty and I wouldn’t change a thing. The area is gorgeous and we had a great time at the Makanda boardwalk and in giant city state park."

"The check in was horrible. Somehow Trip.com didn't make the payment so they wanted me to pay again! I contacted Trip.com, Joyce was helpful but she tried calling the hotel and they didn't answer. Eventually the person who wasn't even there at the front desk contacted Trip.com and the payment went through. This whole process took 45 minutes. That kiosk systems isn't good, it is hard to understand the person and it takes forever. Once I was assigned the room, the key didn't work. Oh yeah, they told me there was no WiFi or TV. The bed was good and the air condtioning was very good. The shower was one of those low flow ones. The room was okay. I would have been reasonable happy had the check in gone smoothly and there was WiFi."

"The people were nice, but it's evident they are undergoing a transition of some sort. My room smelled odd, there was a slimy residue on the floor that if an unbalanced person walked on, they could easily fall, nothing sugar free in the breakfast area, ice machine is not working so they give you a Ziploc of ice and you can't see where that ice comes from, the TV in the fitness center is oddly placed in comparison to the treadmill, the exterior doors were propped open all night despite the sign saying they'd be locked. In they're defense, there are giant boxes of presumable furniture in the hallway and I think they're getting unpacked. I will give them another try at some point as I travel there often. However, I'll give them a little more time to figure it all out."
