It was a good experience staying at this hotel. The hotel is situated close to the city centre so the parking facility provided really comes in handy. We had dinner at their dalchini restaurant, the quality and quantity of the food were both good. The room, though small, it was neat and clean. The bathroom was also good. The staff was also very friendly. Overall, the stay was good.
The front desk staff are hopeless, very unfriendly and rude. They were quite unhelpful with the little things like making change but also unmoved when we asked for a thirty minute late checkout. I could make this review quite long with many more complaints but the real disappointment was the smell of our room. It had clearly been a smoking room at some point and cologne was used to mask the smell. Either that or someone broke a bottle in there. The scent was stifling, I couldn't wait to leave the room. One last thing, I'm not sure how safe the facade of this building would be in a fire. When we opened our windows to the street there is quite involved facade structure that would make escape in a fire impossible. Don't bother staying here, go to Samdareeya or Kalchuri Residency (I would have but it was shaddi.com season.)

The restaurant food and service deserve a special mention. Thanks to the restaurant team for the amazing food recommendation and personal electrician. During our stay, they remembered. The names to chicken was well marinated with the perfect spices. Use the breakfast has a good spread. We highly recommended this day at the property and also experienced the food and hospitality. The team pursued the team front of its restaurant housekeeping all of your fantastic.
As a customer who recently visited Riverwood Retreat Pench, I must say that my experience was far from satisfactory. I had high expectations for my stay, but unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed. This was primarily because of the behaviour of the front desk staff being led by the property manager. The staff seemed indifferent and unresponsive to guest needs. They lacked etiquette and I truly feel they need serious lessons in hospitality. They need to shed their ' We dont care' attitude'. Furthermore, the facilities promised on their website were either unavailable or not as advertised. The swimming pool was not properly maintained and had a murky appearance, making it unappealing for use. There was moss all over the pool floor. The recreational activities mentioned were not well-organized or properly maintained. The value for money was not justified, and I felt disappointed with the overall experience. I would not recommend this resort to anyone seeking a quality and memorable experience.

They committed me to provide tea in early morning, accordingly i called for room service in morning around 5:45 am but no body picked the call. Only one plus point is it's location near madan mahal rely station.

I must say that I had high expectations given the reputation of Vannraj, but unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations. Firstly, I found the buffet spread during my stay to be significantly lacking in variety, especially considering the price that was charged. The limited options available were disappointing and did not justify the cost of the meals. Secondly, I was disappointed with the service provided by the restaurant staff. There were noticeable delays in serving basic items like bread, and during breakfast, milk was not available for coffee. Additionally, I observed that there was a lack of anticipation regarding the number of guests present and the speed at which the buffet needed to be refilled. This resulted in inconvenience and a less than satisfactory dining experience. One aspect that particularly concerned me was the allowance of pets, specifically dogs, in the dining area. This practice is highly unhygienic as guests would come into contact with these animals, potentially transferring germs from their hands to the buffet dishes. I strongly recommend revisiting this policy to ensure a clean and sanitary dining environment for all guests. Moreover, the room cleaning staff did not meet the expected standards. On a broader note, I believe that Vannraj Resort is overhyped, and the prices charged do not align with the level of service provided. The disparity between the expectations set by the resort's reputation and the actual experience was quite significant. Finally, I would like to mention the lack of staff presence near the pool area to assist guests with towels. It was inconvenient to have to go all the way to the reception desk to request them. I recommend ensuring that there are dedicated staff members available at the pool area to promptly address such guest needs.
