戈登別墅飯店(Gordon House)

Great location to explore Wimborne Minster. It's opposite the Town Hall and very close to restaurants, the theatre and the Minster. Parking on site is very convenient. Some things could be improved. The shower didn't drain well and leaked, forming a large puddle on the bathroom floor. English breakfast was ok. There were some boxes of standard Kellogs cereal but there was no fresh fruit, yoghurt or muesli on offer. Our room was ok for one night but the blind didn't block the light in the morning, which disrupted our sleep. The stairs' carpet needs a deep clean.

I stayed one night at Gordon House because it was convenient for my visit the following day to 'Windows on wildlife' where I was spending a half day photographing birds with Dean Mason. Conveniently located in the centre of Wimborne Minster it is within easy walking distance of local pubs and restaurants and the Minster. There is limited parking at the property, and I parked on the road (free from 6pm until 8am). My small loft room had two comfortable single beds, a chest of drawers, hanging space, a bedside table, tea/coffee facilities and reasonable wi-fi. The small bathroom had a good shower, small wash basin and toilet. Everything was new and sparkling clean. My host was friendly and flexible, preparing an early breakfast at 7 am. I paid £63 and would stay again - but a bigger room would have been nice!

A wonderful place to stay, lovely friendly owners who make you feel welcome. We would definitely stay again. The place was clean and had everything you need. The location is great for town. The rooms are a really good size.

We were greeted by the owner and her 2 fabulous Springers. Bedroom was well appointed - beautifully decorated and comfy beds Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious even received a complementary sausage for our dog Highly recommended plus free parking. Stones throw from the town centre which was worth walking around and visiting the church

Great position on edge of town. Easy walk to everywhere in Wimborne. Lovely room with everything you need including tea/coffee/biscuits & toiletries. The shower is really good. (I had a single room which was on top floor with sloping part of roof next to bed, neither that nor the stairs up were an issue for me). Breakfast was great, including usual cooked items (in whatever combination you like ) toast & cereal. The owner is lovely - accomodating and helpful.

I travel a lot for scuba diving and can honestly say Gordon House is one of the best places I've stayed at. Communication with Anne around check-in/out was excellent, she organised parking and gave me a warm welcome on arrival. Property is very well located, it has a charming interior and was presented in a spotless condition. Fully recommend.

A super lovely house. Perfect room, large and bright. Lovely en-suite. Such a comfy bed, we slept so well and woke up to have a fab cooked breakfast. It’s a gorgeous place, clean and tidy. The lady running it is lovely, friendly and welcoming. Pity we were only staying one night but we hope to visit again and this will definitely be our first choice of where to stay.

It's amazing how quickly you can be in Corfe Swanage Salisbury or Dorchester from here, yet it's not a full on tourist town so nice and civilised. Gordon House is great value, clean and stylish with lovely people.

Beds are comfortable, practically in town, lots of dining options. The hostess told us the restaurant that accept dogs and where we could walk our dog.
