伊薩卡飯店(Hotel Ithaca)

The Hotel Ithaca is a nice hotel. Comfortable and clean. The staff is courteous. My only complaint was that the hairdryer in the room did not work, but I didn't bother to get a replacement. I did inform the desk clerk, so hopefully they replace it for that room. After enjoying free breakfasts at other hotel options, I was disappointed that there was no free breakfast at the Hotel Ithaca. There is free coffee. They have a nice ($$) restaurant inside for your inconvenience, and room service, if you wish. The location is great for visits to the State Theatre, and the area is walkable, but like most downtown areas in terms of safety and cleanliness.

Hotel room was impeccable, great bedcoverings, pillows, towels etc. Nite clerk Andrew was excellent. The auto thermostat adjusted heat up during the nite which awakened me and I had to figure it out. unfortunately I did not get back to sleep The business center had only one chair. The meeting room tabletop was damaged.

Went down to the hotel restaurant and bar with my wife and daughter and had a great conversation with Roy who is the Director of hotel services, but was filling in as bartender that night. We ordered wings and a couple of drinks, and had a great time thanks to Roy. Wings were awesome as well.

Hotel was nice enough. Beds were comfortable. carpet was a bit worn and they didn't provide conditioner in the bath. Some of the outlets did not work. Someone in the floor above me walked like an elephant and the floors for some reason really carried the sound. Duvet looked a bit dirty or perhaps it was just pilled, and for some reason the sheets were folded halfway up the bed so there was no barrier between the sheet and the duvet unless you unmade the entire bed. Pillows were the kind where when you put your head on them, your head sinks through with little support. These are all minor things of course. The hotel was very convenient and the staff helpful and friendly.

We stayed only for one night on 25th dec. It was quite and no many people. The pool water was cold and also the place . My kids took a cold the day after. The main leaving area was not appropriate to stay , to small and not even a christmas tree to support the mood.

Property was typical downtown area but nice. Staff were friendly and professional. Building seemed clean, the room was mostly clean but there was dirt in the corners and underneath the furniture. Overall it was still a good experience.

Our room ( King bed with fireplace) was huge with a large sitting are, desk, bar counter etc. bathroom was very big with great shower and all the little extras many hotels no longer offer- bathrobes etc. Ithaca commons is 5 min walk away with great restaurants. The retail at the commons is hugely disappointing- many empty store fronts.
