Very nice staff and service

とても歴史的な場所にあり、歩いてイスタンブールを自分のペースで味わえます。 ホテルの内装はクラシックで、トルコの伝統的な朝食は1日のスタートに元気を与えてくれます。スタッフはにこやかで外出から戻るとホッとさせてくれます。また、泊まりたいと思います。

Начну свой отзыв с того, что я из России и забронировать номер стало проблематично. Однако списавшись с отелем договорились об оплате наличными на месте. Заказывала трансфер от и до аэропорта и не пожалела ни разу. Ехали с мужем вдвоем в минивэне, с комфортом доехали) В отеле Соколу Паша очень приветливый персонал. Во всем стараются угодить. Русскоязычного персонала нет. По приезду на ресепшене нам на карте все показали, рассказали куда можно сходить и что посмотреть. Сам отель хоть и не большой, но очень милый, колоритный, уютный. Восточная сказка. Я бронировала номер с балконом и видом на мраморное море. Номер просторный, чистый. Удобная кровать, на которой я выспалась) Халаты, тапочки, в мини баре вода, в ванной - гели, шампуни и тд. Прекрасный вид с балкона на малую Айя-Софию и море! Единственное что бы хотелось улучшить в номере - это освещение, мне как то не хватало света в вечернее время дня. Завтраки. Кто-то писал, что нечего есть… я такого не наблюлала. Мы с мужем наедались. Омлет, яйцо вареное, сосиски, картошка фри, выпечка, тосты, 2 вида колбас, 4 вида сыра, 2 вида фруктов, печенье, пирог, овощи свежие, закуски, зелень, йогурт, джемы, хлопья, соки, 4 вида оливок. Все очень вкусно. А чай или кофе приносят официанты. Расположение отеля так же весьма удачно- минут 7-10 и вы уже на площади Ипподром, ну и от туда до достопримечательностей рукой подать. Если бы спросили , вернусь ли я в этот отель? Однозначно- ДА!

Top Hotel!!! Waren schon 6mal dort und es wird immer unser Anlaufpunkt für eine Istanbulreise bleiben. Wir waren im Standardroom, Hamamroom mit Wirlpool und im Zimmer mit Balkon. Alle Zimmer sind wunderschön, sauber, bequeme Betten. Wir wurden auch öfter von der Familie begleitet und auch diese waren begeistert vom Hotel. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksangebot ist vielseitig und sehr lecker. Der Frühstücksraum ist gemütlich und bei guten Wetter kann man draußen im liebevoll gestaltenden Hof essen. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. Die Straßenbahn ist ebenfalls ca 5 min fußläufig zu erreichen und man ist unkompliziert und schnell mit der Tram an weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten oder auch zb. an der Anlegestelle der Fähre am Bosporus. Wir können das Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Расположение: в пятнадцати минутах ходьбы от всех достопримечательностей, но при этом на тихой и уединённой улочке. Для нас это идеальный вариант. Рядом выход на главную улицу где тьма ресторанов и кафе, поэтому вопросов обеда и ужина не стоял. Отель : миленький отель в традиционном стиле для любителей старины, и желающих окунуться в атмосферу востока. Мне очень понравились детали декора как самого отеля, так и милого маленького внутреннего дворика с крошечным фонтаном. Везде очень аккуратно и приятно, так я себе и представляла домик старого района Стамбула. Номера : не сказать чтобы этот отель подошёл любителям стерильной чистоты, потому в номере мощные шторы и гардины, которые лишний раз лучше не трогать 😅. Номер очень колоритно украшен, во всяком случае мне понравилась стилистика. Из минусов-был явный запах канализации по вечерам, но он нивелировался закрытой дверью. Здание очень старое, надо понимать что и трубы там не новые. В общем момент не самый приятный, но нас не смущал. В ванной были гели для душа, мыло и шампуни. Полотенца и постельное всё чистое, без сторонних запахов хлорки и т.д. Кухня : у нас были только завтраки, но они были самые вкусные и сытные. Несколько видов оливок и маслин, овощи, салаты, разные сыры, колбасы, и мини- стол из двух видов фруктов и сладостей. Вкусные соки, чай и кофе. В общем-то это были одни из лучших Турецкий завтраков. Кофеёк приносили официанты, все очень гостеприимные и улыбчивые. Сервис : под сервисом я подразумеваю приятное и легкое общение с персоналом. Мы обращались к ним только пару раз на счёт трансфера, и поскольку машину подавали вовремя и помогали с вещами, не могу поставить ничего кроме высшего балла.

Very well situated. Walking almost everywhere. Comfortable beds and good breakfast. People working there very nice and helpful. A bit noisy as our room has views to the street. A good price comparing with other hotels. I will repeat I'd I ever go again to Istanbul

The hotel is not a 5* venue, but is friendly, clean and gives a truly authentic Turkish vibe. I'm sure that in its price bracket you wont find better. We loved it. We had a superior double room with a fantastic balcony with views over the Sea of Marmara. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast sets you up for the day. A really short walk (uphill) to the hippodrome where you will find the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Also the tram line to explore the rest of Istanbul. We would thoroughly recommend and would definitely return!

We stayed together with friends for a few days. The location is great, in walking distance off the famous Sultanahmet square, the Ayasofia and lot more.. The room is very clean with comfortable bed . The breakfast is various and fresh. Mehmet at the reception is very kind and polite , we had such fun with him.Also a compliment for Fatih at the restaurant. We sure recommend everyone to stay at this lovely hotel. Thanks for everything. See you next time!❤️

Convenient to so many shopping and dining possibilities. Just a block or two from the historic Hippodrome of Constantinople AND the 'small' Hagia Sophia mosque. Very friendly and accomodating staff; always handled questions and requests promptly and courteously. Three minor issues: 1.) We could not turn off either the heated towel rack in the bathroom nor the floor heat in the entranceway. 2.) No washcloths/facecloths provided (could not find any in local shops, so maybe they don't exist in Turkey?). 3.) Water bottles sometimes replaced by housekeeping, sometimes not. Same with Shower Gel empty containers. Still... we would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. High value for money.

Our first time in Istanbul, so we chose a BA holiday, and hence this hotel. What a pleasure, both to be in such a great location and to find such a gem nestled in the heart of it. The hotel is small, like most other independent hotels in the Ancient district, but that allows for friendly, more personal customer service. Our en-suite room was basic but very clean and comfortable (which is all we need when we're out exploring all the time!). The buffet breakfast offered a mix of Turkish and Mediterranean foods, with fabulous coffee (of course)! No dinner is available, but it sits right next door to an excellent and affordable restaurant, Garden 1897. The hotel's split-level garden was a great place to 'take tea' in the afternoons, Turkish style, and offered a quiet space amidst the hustle and bustle on the streets. As for location, it really was a great choice. Just a few minutes walk will take you to places such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Topkapi Palace and (our favourite place) Basilica Cistern. A 15-20 minutes walk will get you to the Spice Bazaar and the Grand Bazaar, and to the river for the ferries. Cannot say enough about the staff. Virtually all had excellent English, and were able to offer as much advice as we needed; plus, booking things for us such as an evening dinner cruise on the Bosphorous. The clincher, however, had to be the surprise of the British themed leather sofa, what can I say ? ;-)

This hotel is 6-7 mins uphill walk from the Aya Sofia / Blue Mosque and 15 uphill mins from the Grand Bazaar. There are a number of restaurants near by which makes it an ideal location for seeing some of the main attractions. Check out the Istanbul Anatolian Cuisine restaurant for their claypot beef or chicken. it was wonderful The staff are friendly and helpful. One of the managers, Firat was very helpful and friendly and we had several conversations. The breakfast bar, was unspectacular, except for the Scrambled Eggs which were spectacularly good - just like my mother used to make. Rooms were nice. all of the beds in all of the hotels except one were a bit firm for my personal liking but I solved that by removing the doona from its cover and sleep on top of the Doona using its cover as a top sheet. If you are bothered by noise when trying to sleep avoid rooms 102 and 106

This was a BA organised five-night break. We also arranged a Bosphorus and cable car activity plus return taxi transfer through BA - both were as described. Collection was on time by air-conditioned coach, after a few pick ups on route we were taken directly to the boat. The guide arranged for us to board in advance of other passengers giving us first choice of seats. It was a good taxi service. We stayed in the Bosphorus Suite - which is spacious and well-furnished with a view of the Bosphorus from the balcony. The suite has a large comfortable bed, his-and-her wardrobes and decorated in authentic style. Excellent bathroom facilities with bath and separate rain shower, fluffy towels, a wicker basket containing an ample supply of toiletries and bath robes. The room was always spotlessly clean thanks to the diligent cleaners. I very much enjoyed the traditional Turkish breakfast - a variety of salads, cheeses, bread selection, meat, juices and fruit which suited me but not my husband. No problem - every morning he was served with a delicious four-egg omelette freshly made by the excellent chef. The courteous and friendly waiters, after the first morning, anticipated our requirements. As soon as we arrived at our table coffee was served immediately, no asking and no waiting. There is also a garden with comfy furniture/tables and chairs and superb lighting in the evening/night. There is no bar, however, glasses, ice and lemon slices are gladly provided if you wish to buy your own G&T or whatever! The hotel is conveniently located in the old City and the tram connection is a short uphill walk which was not really convenient for my husband who has heart failure but he managed by taking it slowly with pauses. The hotel lent us a travel card which we loaded at the tram stop - with a little help from a local. Reception staff were welcoming, chatty and helpful. On arrival and departure our luggage was dealt with by the staff for which we were grateful. Owing to mobility restrictions we did not venture far to eat and ate every evening at Yakut Restaurant & Bistro where the service was excellent and the food delicious. I can recommend the shrimp casserole, lamb casserole, lamb shank and the burger - if you want more chips - just ask. We thank Sokkulu Pasa for a most pleasurable stay which was such fun as was the memorable City of Istanbul.

Booked the hotel direct with the hotel two stay 2 nights in the hurrem sultan suite and one night in the family suite. I spoke to Zubair the general manager via email to secure a deal. On day two as we’re leaving to explore my husband left his D&G glasses on the bar as we were unpacking the babies pushchair . When we return to the hotel we informed the man on the front desk who firstly denied having seen them and then showed us a picture of the glasses and said a member of staff has taken them home as she thought they were hers. This was absolutely absurd. How can a member of female staff pick up men’s sunglasses and take them home thinking they are hers. Why would you take guest property home. He was justifying why she would have taken them with no rational reason and informed us she could only return on Friday when we’re leaving . He said her name was Suhaila and she was his sister and this was a family business . Very unprofessional behaviour by the staff to try justify taking guest belongings . We put our foot down and 2 hours later they were returned without an apology. I then escalated this to Zubair general manager who already knew and sided more with his member of staff but apologised on her behalf . I wouldn’t stay in a hotel where you can not trust staff with your belongings . We was spoken to very rudely by the front desk staff I didn’t quite catch his name. Zubair was disappointing as he didn’t take any action against his staff. We will not ever be returning
