The best things about the Hampton Inn were the location and the hotel employees. The hotel is 15 minutes to half an hour walk from Charleston’s major attractions, including shopping, and twenty minutes from the airport. Charleston is made for walking. It is compact, clean and safe, so we walked everywhere. The attitude of the front desk employees epitomized southern hospitality. The hotel offers free breakfast which is basic, but satisfying. Room cleaning is offered upon request. twenty minutes from the airport.

Breakfast was good. Should restore daily maid service. They don’t even come when you request service.

We had an amazing stay in Charleston. Every staff member we encountered had a smile on their face, and was a pleasure to converse with. Good breakfast every morning, and lobby was excellent to end the night with a game of cards with friends, a cup of hot chocolate, or watching a basketball game.

Loved this hotel. Location was great, easy off the street parking, staff was wonderful and it was a good price. Would definitely stay here again

I stayed for one night to go to a show downtown. The hotel is in a prime location, but needs some major updates. There was a large water spot on the ceiling in our shower, crumbs left on the floor from previous guests, our room had ants and no mini fridge or microwave (so no point in bringing food back to the room). Overall, the bed was comfy and the room was spacious, but for the price they charge, they really need to bring the hotel into the current generation.

The check in was easy and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room is beautiful and restaurants are within walking distance

Great location very nice place to stay everywhere. Very close. Specially, tourist visitor center.
