Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft direkt am Meer mit Biergarten. Tolles, freundliches Team und sehr gutes Essen. Zimmer sehr gut ausgestattet und bequem. Zimmer 12 mit Blick über den Clyde. Frühstück mit sehr vielen Optionen von Full Scottish bis zu exzellentem Porridge.

Stayed for a few days recently and had a wonderful time. From check in to check out everything was great! The staff can’t do enough for you and the food was delicious. We had gone walking both days and was lovely to come back to a nice warm Hotel. Will definitely be back !

Our third visit since 2022 and the place just gets better. Comfortable and spotless rooms, excellent food, and a great selection of drinks behind the bar. The friendliest of staff added to the above make for a memorable stay. So we've booked again for next August

Fabulous food in a fabulous setting ..... thanks to Andy for getting us a table.... excellent service by all staff and our meals were all excellent ... really well set up with a number of different areas to eat in, so it didn't feel as busy as it was

Profuse apologies for the delay in writing this. This is retrospective of a dinner from March 2024. It was so EXCELLENT. WE both had the venison steak and I can honestly say the way it was cooked, and the delicious accompaniments it came with (a red fruity sauce) was the best I’ve had. Presentation too was excellent. But above all was the helpfulness of the staff. Really amazing, highly recommended. We came for dinner when you’d been reunited with your lovely seal (that at the time had been found on Bute). Hope to be back!

Stayed at this hotel while visiting the island for work, the hotel itself is in an old building which has a lot of character. It is in a great location on the seafront and has a huge beer garden and outdoor eating area out the front which I sadly didn’t get to use during the weather. The dinner in the hotel was lovely and there was plenty choice , even had a few different dinners for pets which I was surprised to see. The room itself was nice but due to me being 6ft 4 the low ceiling in part of the room was a bit difficult for me. Would definitely take a trip back here

Only good if you are able bodied ,I was told there was bannisters at either side of stairs to my room and there wasn’t and no disabled toilet . Will never be back to this hotel as not suitable for disabled and ended up sleeping in my car .Disgusted . Love arran but not this hotel

We do not make any claims about being accessible as we are restricted by our building being built in 1850 and also now being listed. We are perplexed you claim to have to had spent a night in your car given the number of other hotels available on the island.

Just spent 5 nights in this cosy and welcoming hotel. Service A1 with fantastic staff. Nothing too much trouble. Ate here every night and food and choice excellent quality and value. Can’t wait to come back - absolutely recommend Corrie Hotel

Had an amazing experience at the Corrie Hotel. The staff were superb to have such a motivated team is a credit to the management. The hotel was beautifully decorated the food was wonderful. The views from the hotel over to Ayrshire are spectacular.First class stay and will certainly be back.

We have just finished a wonderful road trip of Scotland, and Arran was a highlight. The Corrie Hotel was one of the best hotels we stayed in overall. For a start, it's position is second to none - directly across the road from the breach with amazing views and a lovely beer garden right on the beach. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel is very atmospheric, and its modern makeover sits well with its interesting history. Our room was comfortable, well-appointed and stylish. The food was excellent - both dinner and breakfast. We would stay here again.

After all the reviews I had seen prior to booking this hotel - I was disappointed, we stayed at the Douglas hotel the previous night, so had a good point of comparison. Price per night was the same. The room at the Corrie was tiny, carpets had not been vacuumed and desperately need replacing - there was grass and dirt on the carpet - I was wearing white socks that were not clean for very long. The bathroom was dirty, mould on one corner of the bathroom and cobwebs on the other. It looked like someone had quickly come in changed the linen and thrown the bed blanket on the floor while making the bed - when we took the blanket off the white duvet cover there was dirt and hair everywhere- that was it for the cleaning!! We did try to find someone to inform, but there was no one at reception both times I went downstairs and no one there when we left.

We value any feedback but on this occasion find your review does contain some untruths. Really good food here. We went for dinner on a Sunday evening and the food was really tasty. Great traditional Scottish cuisine in a warm, welcoming, traditional Scottish hotel. Just what we expected to find and were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and it had a great atmosphere! Returned the following day for a drink in the best beer garden in the world when the sun finally came out for us

Lovely steak pie and fish and chips for our meal at the Corrie Hotel. Hotel nice and busy ..and a nice buzz about the place. Big portions and excellent value for money ...highly recommend. Hotel recently refurbished...with a lovey beer garden overlooking the water.

Lovely place, open views across to the mainland and an excellent beer garden. The fish finger sandwich is actually four fish fingers (yes the cheap ones you find in the Iceland freezer) on Warburton's toastie......a little steep for £13....c'mon guys, ya could be sooo much better x

Not a guest, but a paying local customer. Bar and restaurant busy which is good of course, I was sitting at the bar table having my second drink only to be TOLD by the bar staff ‘I need this table sorry’ only to walk away after doing so. No questions like will you be planning on having food No direction like there’s more seats over there etc (there wasn’t any seats available from I could see) All because someone was planning on ordering food, the table directly beside had already eaten and finished for some time. They weren’t asked to vacate the table however. Maybe some basic customer service classes wouldn’t go a miss here. And I was planning on eating also, just not at that exact moment, too annoyed by the whole thing to start any conversation about it however. Won’t be back, I’m less than a ten minute walk away. Was very much on planning for it to be my local!

Had you engaged with us at the time, we would undoubtably have found an available table for you to move to, to have enjoyed a meal. During our very busy peak season it is essential, to guarantee a table, that a dinner reservation is made. We have limited areas of seating and try our best to manage it accordingly to make the business most effective and to try and ensure it's survival and longevity. Often specific tables are requested for dining and we do our best to accommodate these, which we suspect is what might have happened this time. We would be delighted if you would come back and see us, so that we can have a chat over a drink and allow us to explain what we are doing to ensure The Corrie Hotel stays open, for everyone, well into the future.
