The room was a bit dirty, outdated and the plumbing was loose and leaky!
Furniture scratched and old! Bathroom window didn’t lock, little scary!
They asked if they could get us anything but when I asked they couldn’t deliver either so I had to go out to get simple hotel items that are usually readily available in room service or front desk!
The pool was freezing and there was no bar available and the bar kitchen was sketchy.
The whole scene/vibe craved a better manager and team of professionals!
The morning we checked out, the sign on the window door claimed front desk opened at 7:30 or 8 am I can’t be certain now and I was there and waited and no one showed up, even an employee walked up and turned around and walked away, said nothing! I texted a few times the usual way that they corresponded, but that too came to a halt. I guess we were leaving so no need to complete our stay with pleasantries.
We went to the sister resort to swim and have cocktails.
La Siesta has beautiful grounds and beach though!
But the price/night was robbery, we will pay the prices, that being said, we too have travel expectations from our experiences!
We do wish them well!
