Updating my review, unfortunately arriving home I was caught off guard with 3 transactions made with my Mastercard, mind you not once did I take out my credit cards. From the airport no check in bags to getting a taxi to the pier leaving from Renaissance Hotel. From arriving at the pier at Almare, still had my purse w me not once did my purse left my side until arriving at the room. Where I left all my belongings. I was naive to think my personal information was safe, so no I did not think about putting my credit cards or passport in the safe. I’m not only angry at this but sad that truly no one can be trusted. It was weird one night, after the room already was clean a lady stop by saying she has to leave clean towels which we did not request. Another off event, I had press the button to DO NOT DISTURB and a gentleman opened my door after knocking once. I was asleep. Scary to be honest. And last but not least another reason for a one star is the supervisor or manager or whatever he’s name is ALAN! He is Not about the guests. I didn’t beg my husband to let me come here to get it ruined by ALAN, as a captain I get you are doing your job but as well you are the voice of the guests to let the higher up know what guests want. Definitely will not be coming back. Try Impression by Secrets instead guys.

The staff made our trip absolutely amazing. The team catered to our every need and exceeded our expectations. 5 Stars – Unforgettable Stay at Almare Resort! We had an amazing time at Almare Resort! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was incredible—relaxing, vibrant, and full of good energy. The food and drinks were top-tier, but what truly set this trip apart was the staff. Everyone was so warm, welcoming, and always smiling, making us feel like we were right at home. The property itself is stunning—beautiful views, spotless grounds, and a peaceful vibe throughout. Special shoutout to Alan and a few others on the team who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their hospitality truly made the difference. Without a doubt, I’ll be returning at least a few times a year. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

This was the best luxury, adults-only resort that I have been to in Mexico. The food was exquisite and did not taste like resort food. It was intimate and the staff was wonderful. If you can get their private boat from the Renaissance directly to the resort (and back), then stay here!

The staff were wonderful, Amaury was the Bartender he put on an amazing Mezcal tasting which was fun and informative. He made my birthday special with a lovely cocktail. The private transfer was well worth it, very quick and easy from the airport to the dock of the hotel. The food was the best I have had at any hotel in Mexico.

This was my first time at an all-inclusive resort. I want to thank the staff for an exceptional stay at Almare. Jose and Jorge provided a fun boat ride to Isla Mujeres. Edgar checked us in and showed us around and offered a welcome drink. Bryan and Julian at the front desk were always friendly and helpful. Being on the beach was of primary interest and I want to especially recognize Karen for her friendliness and taking the time to speak Spanish with me. She made great food and drink recommendations. She and Alejandro made us both feel so cared for. Reyes provided so many memorable activities. He added a kayak trip that was a highlight for my daughter and me. Seeing a sea turtle was special. Istak took us on a sunrise walk that I loved. The mescal, salsa and chocolate experiences were amazing. The chef, Carlos Vega deserves high praise. All the food was beautiful and delicious. Every waiter made us feel welcome and served use well; Renaldo, Barulio and Hector. The drinks were delightful. The tasteful decor and tranquility of Almare I valued. Not a single person was anything but kind and welcoming. Almare Resort staff and leadership should be commended. Every aspect was five star. I recommend this resort for anyone wishing a tranquil beach get away with terrific food.
