The front desk staff of this hotel and their actions were completely unsatisfactory and “customer service” was about the worst I have ever experienced.
There was a mistake on the room reservation and they made statements like “I could give you an upgrade, but I won’t”, and when we said maybe we will look at nearby hotels they replied “sure, go ahead, be my guest” as to infer the did not care if we wanted to stay elsewhere. They actually said “be my guest”! Who, in the global travel and hospitality industry, would ever say these things to a paying guest. We will never again book a stay at this Hampton Inn and Suites, or any Hampton Inn for that matter after this terrible experience.
