"I only gave an average for cleanliness because the bin in the bathroom was not emptied, otherwise everything else was clean. Location was ideal as we were attending Indoor Netball Nationals and that was just around the corner. Bed was very comfortable, had small problem with pillow slipping down between mattress and headboard"

"Friendly, Clean, glorious accommodation, felt like we were the only ones in the building. Staff were lovely, when we saw them. Clean pool. Room serviced everyday (which we didn't use, the clean towels and coffee etc were left in a basket at our door) Central to everything, good coffee, great range of different cultures of food. A lovely place to stay. We spent 4 days there over xmas. Happily stay there again."

"We have been coming to Spicers Hidden Vale for about 12 years now. It has been a favourite destination and full of wonderful memories of the countryside, biking and relaxed feel. I have given feedback directly to the front desk before, but I would like to suggest again that a casual menu be available for lunch and dinners throughout the week. Staying more than 1 night means an expensive 3 course meal every night. It really is too much food. Lunch outside of Friday or Weekend barn offerings are a chacuterie plate at the bar or cheese selection. The food is good although we felt this time it was slightly below par. All in all this is still one of our favourite places to go - but we would love to have casual dining throughout the week (room service perhaps) to support a multi day stay with children. There is a point where promoting the restaurant becomes a detractor from the overall experience."
