洛奇費恩溫泉飯店

Hier terechtgekomen door een ongelukkig toeval van dubbele booking in b&b wat een superleuk kennismaking was. Heel aangenaam net hotel met fijne faciliteiten. Mooie ruime kamer ondanks de op 1 na kleinste kamer (wij hadden de classic room) koffie, thee..badjassen en slippers aanwezig! Zeer tevreden, zo ook de keuken was een aangame verassing.

The location of this hotel and the staff are good. However, the hotel needs a lot of investment. The rooms are shabby, entrance hall and corridors dilapidated, and smelly. Heating didn't work even though we reported it. The staff make the hotel work.

The Loch Fyne is in a fabulous position and is a quality hotel but we found the service and food quality in the Bistro to be below expectations. Because of the orientation of the accommodation wing there are limited sea view rooms available but our Classic room was a good size, clean and a comfortable bed. En suite was a good size with a large shower. The Pool & Spa are very good with full access for residents to the Pool, Salt Room, Steam Room, Outdoor Hot Tub with Sauna, additional charges only apply for treatments and special experience packages. The Loch View bar & Cladach Mor Bistro are also very comfortable but we found the service to be overly casual and lacking genuine hospitality. In particular we were surprised not to be able to check and sign our bill to our room account each evening, even when I asked to do so, and at check out on leaving the hotel there were discrepancies which were difficult to assess and challenge at reception. In retrospect I believe we were overcharged for some drinks and in the circumstances I regret not having withdrawn the "optional" service charge from our bill! My biggest food disappointment was the Loch Fyne Linguine dish which I expected to have fresh Prawns & Crab befitting the Loch Fyne location. What I received was a plate of overcooked pasta with probably frozen shrimps, finely flaked crabmeat in a bought-in seafood sauce. With hindsight I should have returned it directly to the kitchen! I believe this was the Crab & Shrimp linguine from the lunch/lounge menu at 2/3 the cost, nothing like the photo on the Bistro page of the website! Unfortunately these issues have led to an overall disappointment with our Loch Fyne experience.

Our group of 4 had a wonderful experience at the Spa. We were greeted by Niall O'Shaughnessy who was friendly and made us feel welcome. We were shown around the Spa. The pool and indoor hot tub were spacious and warm. Outside there was a Sona and hot tub both lovely. Our group had massages and a facial done by Chelsea and Margaret both who were so professional and friendly, they made us feels comfortable. The salt and steam rooms were perfect. We also had afternoon tea, the cakes were so delicious and we had a wonderful view . While we had our teas and coffees Niall came and checked in with us. All the staff we spoke to were extremely professional, approachable and friendly. We all enjoyed our day so much and will be back.

This is not an 4 star hotel in the slightest bit. Aeden was beyond rude. I ordered an aperol spritz, world-wide recipe is known as 3 oz Prosecco, 2 oz aperol, & 1 oz club soda. When the drink came as barely pink I asked for it to made properly. They refused to make it & charged me for the drink I didn’t consume after I was told it would be taken off. Aeden went on to try & insult & belittle me by acting extremely unprofessional, questioning in what country the actual recipe is used. Dear Aeden, I requested them in Scotland & was served the proper formulation without having to tell them the ratios. It was only your establishment that watered down their drinks. He told me that the recipe on the back of the bottle was just a suggestion. Thankfully reception came through & resolved our issue in a professional manner. Hopefully he will learn from her example as how to properly handle one’s self. Overall the restaurant was a horrible experience. The food was not good & they are not accommodating in the slightest bit. Again, this is not a 4 star hotel. The room itself needed a deep clean. The baseboards in the bathrooms were dirty, as were the walls. The hand sprayer in the shower had mildew in it, please see photos. I would not stay here again & I would advise everyone to avoid.

Stayed here for two nights, Tuesday to Thursday. Hotel was spotless. Spa and pool area absolutely fantastic. The food was excellent. I definitely recommend the Lamb. Staff are top notch. Do visit Loch Fyne and Spa, you will not be disappointed.

We are just back from a fantastic 2 night spa experience at loch fyne hotel that I had booked as an early birthday treat for my husbands 60th birthday and we loved every minute of it , this was our first time visiting here but we will certainly be back in the future . The food was excellent breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea were all exceptional , compliments to the chef we each had a 25 minute back massage as part of our package and the spa and staff were so lovely they really put us at ease and made us feel so welcome , all the spa facilities were great . The staff in this hotel really go the extra mile , customer service is brilliant and amongst some of the best I’ve experienced in any hotel I’ve been too , nothing was too much trouble and there’s a lovely atmosphere about the place . The only small criticism I’ve got is although the room was clean and practical it could maybe be doing with some updating as it looked a bit tired with mark on ceiling , some marks on carpet , no safe or mini fridge that I’ve had in other 4 star hotels but this certainly would not stop me from visiting again . Thank you to all the staff for making our trip such an enjoyable one.

hotel was spotless !! staff where amazing !!! the family room we had was perfect for having a baby with us !!! the spa facilities where great !!!! highly recommend the breakfast at loch Fyne we had it both morning and there was plenty to choose from !! would definitely stay again !!! cocktails wir amazing
