A hidden gem, the quiet fishing village of Wanchese is tucked away on the southernmost tip of Roanoke Island. While conveniently located minutes from Jennette's Pier, the Roanoke Island Aquarium, and the Elizabethan Gardens, the Village offers visitors a truly authentic Outer Banks experience. Built in 2020 natural light pours into the 500 sq.ft. coastal studio through oversized windows creating a bright, airy atmosphere. Designed for form and function, the thoughtfully appointed studio encompasses the entire second floor of a stand alone garage. It features a full kitchen with dishwasher, full bath, and stackable washer/dryer. Additionally, a starter kit is provided to guests with dishwasher tablets, a small tide detergent, paper towels, and toilet paper in addition to a few small snacks. In the pantry you’ll find a variety of K-cups and single brew coffee machine along with a toaster. Throughout the studio guests have access to highspeed internet, the bedroom offers guests a restful nights sleep on a queen size Serta mattress with 100% cotton linens, the living room features a smart TV(guests are responsible for logging in/out of their own apps) and a breakfast table with seating for two. The family restored the original pine floors throughout the cottage. They renovated the kitchen while maintaining its vintage feel with basket-weave tile, a retro fridge, and butcher block counter-tops.
