Wildlife abounds in our pristine area and only the soft notes of nesting geese and loons can be heard at night.This recently-remodeled home sits separately from the main house and is a safe-haven: ideal for individuals, couples, or a small family in search of a private coastal vacation. Inspired by the grove of red woods in the backyard, the house has a cozy, treehouse feel and a new 400 square-foot deck with a cozy nook to take in the view even when it's raining. The living room has a new pull-out bed and the bedroom has a comfortable, new queen-sized mattress. The kitchen is stocked with all necessary cookware and accessories, basic seasonings, coffee/tea, and has full-sized appliances. Work from the River! We offer high-speed, fiber-optic Internet access.Your hosts split their time between Portland and Pillar Rock. We will let you know when and if we'll be on-property. Whether we’re there or not, you’ll find the guesthouse to be private, quiet, and relaxing.
