Our lovely pioneer home built in 1873 has been renovated to make for a comfortable, welcoming stay at one of "America's prettiest towns" according to Forbes Magazine 2010. With 3 bedrooms and one full bath this home comfortably accommodates 9 people.Our home has 3 cosy bedrooms. The first bedroom is located on the main floor with a double bed. The second bedroom is just up the stairs in an open loft area with two queen beds and the third bedroom is also upstairs with one queen bed and a twin bed. Enjoy our beautifully renovated spacious kitchen, which is fully equipped for cooking delicious meals for friends and family. There is also a classic dining room and living room on the main floor as well as a small laundry room and full bathroom. Enjoy our small patio just outside the kitchen with gardens as well as the large lawn for games, family time or outdoor eating. Or just curl up with a good book on the front or side porch. Relax on the front porch to watch small-town life roll by, or enjoythe upper rear balcony to see the sun rise over the Horseshoe Mountains. A fire pit isavailable in the rear yard for a relaxing evening gathering spot. (Think s’mores!) Youmay be joined by the local herd of deer or wild turkeys as they meander through theirterritory.The Cabin is a cozy size for a personal retreat or bring the whole gang and its Pet friendly. The main levelhas a small private bedroom with bunk beds along with a queen-sized pull-out bed inthe living room. A full-sized bath boasts a charming claw-foot tub to continue the themeof rest and relaxation whether you prefer a bath or shower. Upstairs the privatebedroom provides a king-sized bed along with a half bath. The loft area providesanother queen-sized pull-out bed for a total sleeping capacity of 8.The large gathering space on the main level consists of a free-standing gas fireplace forambiance along with a seating area, a large dining table that seats 8-10, and afully-equipped kitchen. New stainless-steel appliances, pots, pans, cutting boards,utensils and seasonings are provided. (A well-stocked grocery store is available in Mt.Pleasant, about 6 minutes away.)
