Raccoon Lodge (part of Coops Creek Cabins) is a comfortable 300 square foot cabin nestled in a cozy, wooded hollow on Coops Creek. We are adjacent to the Historic Dunlap Coke Ovens Park, and only one mile from the center of town - giving our visitors a quaint, secluded accommodation with the convenience of staying in town. Centrally located, visitors can enjoy day trips to Chattanooga, Crossville, McMinnville, Jasper, Murfreeboro, Woodbury, etc. (This includes Fall Creek Falls State Park and Cumberland Mountain State Park.)Hike the nearby trails, check out the many local restaurants and shops, take day trips to many tourist attractions, or just hang out in this cozy cabin and relax all day.Raccoon Lodge has all the comforts of home: a snug loft bedroom (accessed by a ladder), a comfortable sofa bed with a memory foam mattress and optional air mattress, a back deck overlooking Coops Creek, a firepit, a small kitchen with all the basics provided for cooking simple meals, a full bathroom with a stand up shower, central heat and air, an electric fireplace, direct access to the Coke Ovens Park and Museum including hiking trails, plus much more. This rustic cabin sits on six private acres nestled amongst a large farm with a variety of exciting farm animals surrounding the property.You will find a large front porch where you can sit in rocking chairs as the sun settles behind the mountains. The cabin includes a king size bed, kitchen, working space, coffee, Roku, and many other amenities.Located only 30 minutes from downtown Chattanooga this cabin is close to civilization but also on the edge of the earth. Commuting into the city is very simple with almost always very light traffic. There are many trailheads in close proximity to the site such as Prentice Cooper State Park, Rainbow Lake, South Gulf trailheads, South Cumberland State Park, Fall Creek Falls, and many more. If you are living more on the wild side enjoy paragliding off the same mountain side just minutes away. Container Albatross is a new container Home near Fall Creek Falls State Park in the heart of the Upper Cumberland. Container Albatross features a fully functional kitchen, (mini fridge, induction cooktop, and convection microwave) a queen bed, a full bathroom, fire pit, hammock chairs, and several additional amenities listed below! The area is filled with shopping, restaurants, hiking, waterfalls, state parks, kayaking, and much more!Container Albatross is a 20ft container home with an open living space and kitchen. There is a queen bed and a smart tv with Netflix and a variety of games and books to keep you entertained during your stay. The house has wifi and a desk space making it a perfect spot to catch up on some work if needed!The kitchen has 2 person dining bar, mini refrigerator, convection oven, 2 burner stove top, Keurig, cooking spray, salt and pepper. It also has a full dish set, pots, pans, mixing bowls and all of the essential utensils. We provide coffee, creamer and sugar as well. There is a small full bathroom which has a 1 person shower, a Cinderella Incineration toilet and all toiletries needed during your stay!There is a 8ft x 20ft covered front porch with swinging hammock chairs for relaxing. There is also a large fire pit area to enjoy!
