The name of the home – Water Lover’s Paradise – is truly reflective of the location and amenities available for the perfect vacation. Enjoy the provided kayaks, peddle boat, and standup paddle boards, swimming, or fishing on Spring Lake or walking/hanging out on the beach. Lots to do within a 15-20 minute drive from Tillamook to Manzanita and just a couple minutes from Rockaway restaurants and shops! The spacious floor plan is perfect for multiple families, a large family, or an extended family vacationing together! The beach itself is just across the street, so you can walk out of your door and have your toes in the sand in minutes.Spend an afternoon combing the beach for interesting artifacts - if you head south, you'll see the highly photographed Twin Rocks just offshore. Just across Hwy 101 from the neighborhood, you’ll find the Rockaway Cedar Preserve. An easy walk will bring you to one of Oregon’s biggest trees, a 500+ year old cedar. For those looking to go a bit farther, Lake Lytle is just over one mile to the north. Go for a hike in Twin Rocks County Park just under four miles away, or head 13 miles south to Tillamook and tour the famous Tillamook Cheese Factory or go wine tasting at the Blue Heron French Cheese company. One of our favorites is Cape Meares State Scenic Viewpoint. The oddly-shaped, but aptly named, Octopus Tree of Oregon is a massive oddity.There is an amazing lookout point there as well.Jetty Fishery and Marina and Kelly’s Brighton Marina are a little more than three miles north. They rent boats and supplies for fishing and crabbing or touring the scenic Nehalem Bay. Take break and have fun! Come enjoy our beach house. It's been in the family for years and we have loved it. Remodeled in 2021, with new furnishings and decor, with a bright full kitchen space with new appliances. Awesome backyard with year round creek.Relax in the Adirondack chairs on the front deck, listening to the sounds of the ocean waves and enjoy the year round creek in the back yard while sitting around the fire. Cross the bridge and have a picnic in the new outdoor area. To top it off the covered front deck has a gas grill.Take a short walk to the beach to see the iconic Twin Rocks in the distance. Look out to the horizon and you may see the crab boats pulling and setting their traps.
