The home's Stonington location is close by to attractions in Mystic and Watch Hill, so there is lots to do. Saltwater Farm Vineyard is just up the cove from the Cottage and Stonington Marina is three doors down.The cottage features three upstairs bedrooms and a first floor sunroom with a queen bed. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has twin bed with a single trundle bed beneath it. There is also a queen size sleep sofa in the living room. All white linens are professionally laundered, including fresh duvets. The floors are all hard surface with beach vacation in mind. The bathrooms have marble and tile surfaces, and the large capacity washer and dryer make washing large loads of beach towels easy. The kitchen is equipped with cookware, a Cuisinart food processor and Kitchen Aid stand mixer. There is an outdoor gas grill. The dining rooms many windows make it an inviting place to to eat, or if you prefer, dine outside on the deck, or under the pergola. The dock is a nice place to relax and take in the water view. There is an outdoor fireplace by the water that is great for making 'Smores for the kids. The yard is spacious and is planted with apple and pear trees, as well as blueberry bushes.The best thing about the place is the easy access to Sandy Point and Napatree Beaches, accessible by boat just outside the cove. For nature lovers, Wequetequock Cove and Barn Island offer a wealth of bird species including Osprey and Herons. You will truly have a spectacular day on the water.From mid-summer on, you can easily catch Blue Crabs right from the dock. Kids will enjoy catching snapper blues in the cove with light tackle.
