It just transitions from winter activities, skiing, cross country ski, ice climbing, snowmobiles, snow boarding and on and on. Then we transition in to Spring and all that goes with it, from Mountain Climbing, Hiking, Jeep Trails to die for, Fishing, Boating, Motorcycling and on and on. The beauty that surrounds this little community is surreal. When I purchased this perfectly located property it had This beautiful log home rental with spectacular views of the Cimarron and the San Juan Mountains. The cabin is now a fully furnished mountain retreat with everything you will need for a comfortable, affordable stay. Private road with lots of wildlife. The river, and the river trail, can be accessed at the end of our driveway. The Ouray hot springs pool is a 15 minute walk from our house along the river trail. Our dining room looks out on Gold Hill where snow melt creates a waterfall in spring and early summer. Relax on our front patio in front of a nice fire or light up the bar-b-que and dine outside in the shadow of the San Juan Mountains.
