John’s cabin is located on an acre of land nestled in the trees with a beautiful pond in front. Doesn’t get much prettier than this setting. There is a wooded hiking trail if you want to go for a walk. It is 5 minutes from the historic town of French Lick where you will find lots of entertainment, and many restaurants. Should you bring a boat for an outing at Patoka Lake, boat parking is available right across the county road from the cabin. The cabin has a queen bed in the loft area and a twin bed on the main floor. The loft area has stairs that are a little steep. The living room area has a pull out couch.The cabin is professionally cleaned and sanitized between each stay with all used linens washed & dried. Welcome to our home away from home! Located at the end of a short gravel drive, our cottage is conveniently located near many local attractions, restaurants and shopping. It is just 3.8 miles to the French Lick Casino, 5 miles to the West Baden Springs Resort, 6 miles to Paoli Peaks and 15 miles to Patoka Lake or Hoosier National Forest.Though it is easy to get to, once you arrive you'll be surrounded by woods on your own private 5 acres.Spend your day relaxing on the porch listening to nature, going for a walk in the woods or enjoying yourself sitting around the fire pit (free firewood included with each stay!) If you do venture out, you can check out all the area has to offer. There is a winery, antique and artisan shops, restaurants, putt-putt golf and much more to see and do!When inside, you can turn on the flat screen TV to watch one of the streaming services or live TV while using our free Wi-Fi and included Amazon Firestick.*For the safety and security of the property and our guests, we have a ring doorbell at the front door.Our little cabin has a 4 person max capacity, including visitors. If you require a space for more than 4 people, unfortunately we won't be able to accept your reservation. Please note, the driveway is narrow and gravel.
