Constructed in the Old Nags Head style of the 'unpainted aristocracy,' this house, known to friends and family as 'The Buckeye Beach Inn,' is filled with surprising amenities.Featuring a pool larger than the ones at most hotels on the Outer Banks and multiple expansive decks. The perfect family getaway. We are proud to be offering it as a vacation rental!There is off street parking for 6+ cars. A detached garage serves as a pool room and bar, complete with flat screen tv, casual sitting, pool table, and bathroom. This means you can have tons of fun without worrying about waking anyone up!The huge, sprawling, multilevel deck overlooking the golf course surrounds the house and ascends to the massive swimming pool on the lower level. There is plenty of outdoor seating (four picnic tables with umbrellas), chairs and loungers. The pool is completely private and sheltered from the wind by an outer wall.We have two outside showers, one enclosed, and one on the pool deck. In addition, there is a charcoal grill.The main level of the house is a large open floor plan with kitchen, dining area, and den with two sofas and large flat screen tv. Three of the four bedrooms and two baths are also on this floor. Two bedrooms feature queen beds, one bedroom features a pyramid bunk (one twin, one double). There is also a small office area with desk, perfect for surfing the web with our free wi-fi.Up a small flight of stairs is a second large den with dining area and wet bar. Off to itself, it's the perfect place to put, or escape from, the kids. This room has two sofas, a 42 inch flat screen, and dining table. The master suite is located above this area on its own private floor, accessible via spiral staircase. This spacious room, with king bed and flat screen tv, has a private balcony with ocean and golf course views. It's the perfect place to sit at the end of the day with a beverage, or to watch the sunrise over the ocean if you are an early bird. These two bedrooms share a hall bath. In the back of the house, there are two additional bedrooms which include another Queen size bed and Twin over Full bed with pull out Twin mattress. The 2nd bathroom is located in the hallway. The central living area has plenty of seating for everyone to be together comfortably watching TV, playing Wii games or just hanging out. Each bedroom has its own TV with 2 with cable and two with Roku and DVD players. Free internet access. Lots of books, board games and DVD's to enjoy. Family game nights are a must!This location offers close proximity to two fishing piers, a short drive to Corolla to see the wild horses or to Oregon Inlet for a deep sea fishing trip. Many attractions within a 30-45 minute drive such as the aquarium in Manteo, Escape Room in Southern Shores, miniature golf, Wright Brothers Museum, Zipline, Grave Diggers, water park, etc. Short distance to Art's Place for great burgers, Rundown Cafe and other restaurants.
