Welcome to our lakefront home located right on the Lake Michigan, in beautiful countryside in Kewaunee County, 30 minutes away from Door County, south of Algoma town. The house is situated on 8.5 acre secluded property, with 500 feet of lake frontage, surrounded by the trees and nature. You can view the sunrise on the Lake Michigan from the house. Wonderful place to watch the birds from the deck, especially during the spring and fall seasons. Our house has 4 large bedrooms, 3 bedrooms on the main floor and 1 bedroom on the lower level. It has 2 bathrooms one on the main floor, and second on the lower level. It can comfortably sleep 8 people, but they are additional two twin beds if needed. Both floors have direct access to the outside. Kitchen is fully equipped. There are few areas where you can grill and make a camp fire. Pond can be used for recreational fishing. A lot of privacy. Unobstructed view of the Lake Michigan. Lake access to your private beach from the property, where you can walk miles along the lake (when the water level is low, which changes seasonally and its rather unpredictable). Perfect place for people who appreciate privacy, nature, lake view and tranquil environment. Great place to watch the stars during the cloudless day. Plenty of parking space on the site plus 2 car garage. EV charge outlet available upon request for additional fee. Short drive to Kewaunee and Algoma town with great restaurants, bars, fish and fresh market. Local wineries, cheese tours, breweries, farms available within short drive. Close drive to hiking and biking trails and fishing areas. Golf course close by.Guest access:Entire home and yard, lake front, beach, fire place, pond. Built in 2020, Cherry Tree House is a Year Round Short Term Rental located on a 10 acre wooded lot only 5 minutes from Algoma, and 15 minutes from Sturgeon Bay, the gateway to Door County. Charter Fishing, Wineries, Shopping, Restaurants, Door County Trolley Tours, and the Ahnapee Trail are just a few attractions within minutes. Cherry Tree House has five bedrooms, three full baths, laundry, Wi-Fi, game room, fully equipped kitchen with coffee makers (Kuering or Mr. Coffee Drip), grain bin gazebo and many other little extras for you to relax and enjoy. The 1st floor is an open concept with the living room, kitchen and dining area that allows plenty of space to interact. You will have the entire house to yourselves, but we do stay on property over the garage with our Bernedoodle named Dozer. There are large flat screen TVs in every room. This is a newly constructed house, so everything in it is brand new. There is a washer and dryer available for your convenience, nestled in the laundry room. You will enjoy direct proximity to Lake Michigan, and the picturesque views of the lighthouse and all of the boats traveling in the harbor. When the Great Lakes cruise ship stops in Algoma twice a month, it parks directly in front of the house. The house is located adjacent to the marina which is about a five-minute walk to all the classic Door County shops, dining, and recreation. You will also want to visit the beautiful beachside marina and beach. You’ll delight in the discovery of the wineries and breweries, and the variety of dining options in Algoma. There’s a delicious bakery that is a two-minute walk from the house. Partake of the spacious patio, which is covered for your comfort, and can also be opened to the welcoming breezes and breathtaking view. Relax and enjoy the fire pit nestled alongside with an outdoor kitchen under a canopy top with a gas barbeque grill, as well as a flat top grill and stainless-steel sink for clean-ups and food preparation. Bluetooth speakers are installed in the house and on the patio that will pair with your phone or electronic devices. Relax on the cozy sectional furniture on the patio underneath the canopy with a spacious outdoor dining table. There are curtains to enclose yourselves in the canopy. There is also mosquito netting, to keep the bugs out! If you’re lucky, with the right timing, you will experience seeing the giant bald eagle that flies nearby and inhabits the tree on the north end of the property while it scouts the lake for fish. It is 30 min from Lambeau Field. Perfect for a fall weekend of Harvest Time and the Beautiful Colors of Door County. Now is the perfect time for your stay at the Lighthouse Retreat.
