Down River Inn is a beautiful vacation rental in Harpers Ferry. We have 4 other nearby full vacation rental homes in Harpers Ferry and have been hosting visitors since 2011. Conveniently located in a semi-rural neighborhood setting with large yard, hot tub, fire pit and large field in the back. The home has cable internet and wifi and free off-street parking.Slope side home in the winter months to Snow Riders which allows for excellent access to the tubing runs. Lights and potentially other guests on the slope may be seen from the home.Info on the heat and air conditioning:1 On cool nights, there is a gas stove in the living room for your enjoyment. Please only run the gas stove when you are in the living room. It is warm enough that the regular house central air will not turn on and the rest of the house may get cold if left running. 2 There is a thermostat in the hallway for the main level and upstairs heat and air conditioning. Vents can also be adjusted if it is too hot or cold in the upstairs vs main floor.3 the basement has 2 thermostats - 1 for a/c on the far wall and one for the baseboard heat on the left wall.
