A recently updated chalet in the village at Big Powderhorn Mountain. Timbuktu is located at the end of a private cul-de-sac and within a short 10-minute walk to Big Powderhorn Lodge and ski lifts. Uniquely, Timbuktu is powered by an on-site solar system which is supplemented by other renewables. Timbuktu is a duplex with us, the owners, living next door. Many living areas have been recently painted and refreshed with new furniture. If you ski, snowboard, snowmobile, ATV or just love the outdoors you will love this location.This property offers 3 Queen bedrooms (each with it's own bathroom with shower) and a loft with two twin beds, a favorite for the kids. Two of the bedrooms have new beds with memory foam mattresses. Bathrooms have updated showers. We have an area of open space including a living room and kitchen that is over 1000sq.' It has 2 fireplaces. A gas fireplace in the living room and if you prefer wood there is a wood one in the kitchen. Time to clean up, we have 3 full bathrooms stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap. Also a half bath upstairs.Then a sauna and hot tub to relax in after a tough day of play. Also a rec room with a foosball table and ping pong table. Wi Fi and Cable on a huge flatscreen. This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom A-Frame chalet is located just 3 blocks from the Mountain and just a short drive to Black River Harbor, The Waterfalls, Copper Peak, and much more. We are in the heart of the Western UP vacation country. Our lodge features a hot tub, seasonal firepit, nice WiFi, 58" smart TV, books and games galore, and most importantly a space to make great memories. The lodge is two story northwoods A-Frame in the "Powder Village" neighborhood near Big Powderhorn Ski Resort. In the winter, the neighborhood is alive with skiers and snowmobilers as the property is close to Snowmobile Trail #2. Powdermill Resort economy-level Condo across from the Big Powderhorn Mountain Ski Resort and just minutes from Black River Harbor, Copper Peak, Blackjack and Indianhead Big Snow Resorts. This is a top floor two-story condo overlooking a beautiful forested area above the Powdermill Creek just north of Powdermill Falls. The condo was totally remodeled in 2020 with new kitchen, bathroom, carpet, fixtures, and more. The kitchen has a refrigerator with freezer big enough for your provisions and perhaps the day's catch, an electric stove/oven, microwave and coffeemaker. The kitchen is stocked with plates, bowls, utensils, pots, pans, and more. The full bathroom features a shower with adjustable head, tub, toilet, and vanity. The bathroom is stocked with linen service including towels and washcloths. The living room features a solid oak dining room table, with 4 chairs (a 5th is in the closet you can use), pull-out sofa sleeper and LED smart TV with cable package. The closet also has a cot and linens. The master suite features a queen bed, workstation, vanity, and additional storage. Note that there is stairs in the unit.
