Laurel Hill Farm was originally built in 1762 with several additions in the following centuries. The house has been restored and updated to include modern amenities. Among the charming period features are hand blown glass windows, exposed brick walls, original wide board pine floors, all of which are blended seamlessly with updated baths and a modern kitchen. Located in Loudoun wine and horse country, off paved Hamilton Station Road, this property includes 30 acres of rolling Blue Ridge farmland in Waterford. Nearby attractions include over 30 wineries and breweries within ten miles, a less than a seven mile drive from the heart of Leesburg and a 25 minute drive to Harper's Ferry. Other unique attributes are a murmuring stream emanating from a stone spring house, an 1824 stone barn, and an outdoor patio with hardscape lighting. Horseback riding lessons available upon request! Nestled on a hillside overlooking the tributary to the Potomac this glammed out cottage has everything you need for a romantic getaway. Immersed just outside the tall glass walls is a private deck overlooking a forest for miles. Keep an eye out for wildlife, you might get lucky and see a couple of bald eagles on your visit. Looking forward to your stay!The spaceThis is 5-Star live-able art, built from years of reclaimed lumber and timber raised and cut on the property and constructed to be private. Your only complaint will be having to go home the next day :). Cleaning precautions for everyone are taken to extreme lengths. All linens, pillows,ect Completely removed and cleaned. All surfaces receive commercial disinfectant and upon the request of the guest we can cordinate fogging services, extended vacancies prior to stays ect. We apologize in advance that some normal things are removed completely like printed house manuals ect. We ask that you remove all trash and a few other things upon departing to help us stay safe as well.Other things to noteSteep steps and loft style bedroom. The driveway can be difficult in large vehicles and snow.
