Built in 2008, this end of terrace house at ‘Out of the Blue’ is situated in a truly breath-taking location right on the water’s edge overlooking the beach at Croyde with off road parking for two cars.This very special house is situated at the far end on the seaward side of ‘Out of the Blue’, so has direct views of both the ocean and the bay near the National Trust headland of Baggy Point. A slipway at the side of the car parking area reaches the beach. The picturesque village of Croyde is set just behind the sand dunes with thatched cottages, surf shops, restaurants and local shops.The living area and two of the three bedrooms have wonderful sea views.The open plan kitchen/living room is a superb vaulted room at first floor level overlooking the sea and the beach, with French doors opening out onto a decked balcony with panoramic views. The balcony is furnished for al fresco dining. The living area is tastefully furnished with a nautical theme white New England style modern furniture and oak strip flooring, giving a contemporary feel. The dining area has a glass and white trestle table with six white dining chairs with paintings and lifebuoy as a backdrop. The seating area has two blue striped settees with two additional small sofa beds. There is a TV with DVD together with a Radio/CD player.There is a beautifully fitted oak and white kitchen with a peninsular unit, oak work surfaces, oven, microwave, hob and extractor, integrated dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer and white ceramic sink with drainer.The sleeping accommodation is on the ground floor. The master bedroom overlooks the beach and has French windows onto a small patio area and the garden. It is furnished with a Kingsize bed, wardrobe and chests of drawers in drift wood style and has an en-suite-wet room with a heated towel rail. It has a large en-suite shower room with basin and toilet.The second bedroom has French windows that look over the main terrace and the bay. It is furnished with a double bed, a painted pine chest of drawers and wardrobe and oak floors. The third bedroom has two single beds, bedside tables and a wardrobe in rattan style. French doors lead onto a small patio area. Additional sleeping facilities in the lounge are available. There is a cupboard downstairs in the hall for storage.There is an attractive family bathroom with bath, wash hand basin, WC, fitted mirror and heated towel rail.Whilst we accept well behaved dogs for an additional cost of £50 per pet, per week or per short break stay, please contact us to check if you wish to take more than one dog.PLEASE NOTE:Short breaks of 2, 3 or 4 nights are calculated on a percentage basis (not a nightly rate) and are normally, only accepted from November - end of February, unless we still have availability closer to the commencement date.A two-night break may be booked through this website. You will need to contact us for an exact 3 or 4 night price.We do not accept a short break during the Christmas week but do accept a 3 or 4 night short break over the New Year.AROUND THE LOCAL AREA.Croyde is ideally situated on the North Devon coast and is world famous for its surfing and water sports. The lovely sandy beach at Croyde Bay is ideal for all generations. There many activities in the locality including riding, walking, golf and cycling. The picturesque village features thatched cottages and offers many amenities including pubs and restaurants. There are other nearby beaches including Woolacombe, Saunton Sands and Braunton Burrows. The larger towns of Ilfracombe and Barnstaple offer a variety of things to do including shopping, Ilfracombe Aquarium, Chambercombe Manor and the Tarka Trail. Sea Dunes is a spacious and comfortable, traditional Croyde bungalow, offering everything that you will need for a relaxing holiday. It is perfectly located in the village, within easy walking distance of the award winning sandy beach and also the thatched cottages, shops, pubs and restaurants in the centre of the village.There is a decked dining area at the front & a patio at the rear of the property.Free Wi-Fi There is an outbuilding that can store surf boards, wet suits etc.There is a decked area at the front of the property, which has sea views across the sand dunes and bay to the headland on the far side. This is ideal for a quiet glass of wine in the evening. From the decking, large patio doors lead into the large open plan living area, with a TV and DVD player and sofas in the lounge, which is over 24 ft in length and then two small steps lead up into the dining area, with its large pine table and chairs and the fully equipped kitchen.Sea Dunes is ideal for larger families or two families, as it will sleep 8 people easily and up to a maximum of 10. There are four bedrooms in total, two double bedrooms (one of which is en suite), a twin room with two single beds, a bedroom with bunk beds and a double sofa bed in the lounge.At the back of the property there is a large patio area with garden furniture which is ideal for BBQ's. There is also an outbuilding that has facilities to store surf boards and wet suits.The entire bungalow and its grounds are all included in the rental price.Ample parking. Greenfields Cottage used to be the workshop of William Budd the village carpenter back in the 18th century. The Pub next door is named Billy Budds for this very reason! The cottage is accessed directly from the footpath to Croyde beach. There is parking for one car included on the other side of the footpath in a small private car park. If you are bringing more than one car there is a large village car park for a small fee.Changeover day is Friday in peak holiday times, Off peak, Changeover day can be flexible, please enquire.Downstairs-A hall way with coat hooks and shoes storage leads to an open plan living , dining, kitchen area. Underfloor heating throughout.Kitchen equipped with dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge freezer, washing machine.There are Ccomfy sofas ( one of which can be used as a king size sofa bed)and a dining table for 6.There is a downstairs toilet and wash basin.Upstairsbedroom 1 - Double bed, fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers.bedroom 2- 2 single beds, chest of drawers, door which leads into private courtyard area.bedroom 3 -bunkbeds and chest of drawers.We can provide a travel cot free of chargeFamily bathroom with heated towel rail and shower over bath. Our garden runs alongside your cottage.Croyde-Croyde is a chocolate box quaint village with one of the best surf breaks in the UK. There a a wealth of choice for eating out, and also some incredible food trucks keep cropping up for hassle free evening beach picnics.We are on traffic free footpath to Croyde beach, its a 5-10 min walk from your front door to the beach. Easy with a surf board. For keen walkers from Croyde beach you can pick the SW coastal path.
