Located in the middle of the Blue Mountains this original 100-year-old cottage is the perfect place for a cosy, romantic getaway. Newly renovated, it is surrounded by large beautiful gums, close to stunning bushwalks, waterholes, and waterfalls. The cottage is set on an 8-acre block, is private, and feels a world away, yet is 4km from shops and the Great Western Highway and a great base to explore the rest of the Blue Mountains.The cottage includes a bedroom with a queen bed, a living area with a day bed, board games and books, a fully equipped kitchen, a combustion stove, and reverse cycle air conditioning.There is a campfire and BBQ area to relax around whilst listening to the birdlife.We have consciously made choices with the fittings, linen, etc. to be as ethical and sustainable as possible. The sheets, towels, tea towels, cushion covers, and floor mat are all made with natural materials, using sustainable and ethical principles. The personal and household cleaning products were also chosen for their sustainability.Things to note:It is an unsealed driveway and it is a little steep and narrow in the last 40m so you can park at the shed and walk or choose to park out front.
