Welcome to our summer home right on the lake! We're situated on the sunny north side of Camp Lake (a quiet, residential and full recreation lake) in Iron River, MI. Enjoy your days out on the water fishing, swimming, skiing, or just relaxing being away from it all. The house is well equipped with new appliances, beds, and memory foam mattresses in most beds. Every room has an air-conditioning unit to make your stay as comfortable as possible.The back yard slopes right down to the shore line with a fire pit and seating for those lovely evenings near the water, which includes a 30 foot dock with an 8'x12' platform. Within the dock area there is a shallow (1-3 foot) beach area for kids to enjoy the crystal clear water. There is a paddle boat and a row boat to use as well as life jackets. Visiting in the fall or winter? There are plenty of activities in the area to keep you as busy as you would like. Ice fishing, Sled dog races, cross country, snowmobiling or Ski Brule is just a 10 minute drive down the road. After a day out in the snow, come home and relax with radiant, in-floor heating for a warm, all-over cozy atmosphere. The small town of Iron River is home to several family owned businesses.... coffee shops, antiques, gifts, restaurants and grocery stores. A visit to the downtown is a unique experience for the whole family. The Chalet is perfect for 2 families or a large group that want to stay together but yet have their own privacy! the Chalet offers that with two separate units but you get the whole place with the adjoining staircase (interior) keeping you all connected! This booking is for the upper and lower units (entire chalet) which is very spacious and comfortable with each unit offering a fully equipped Kitchen, very spacious livingroom in the upper unit with leather sectional, dining area in the upper unit that seats 4, dining table in lower unit that seats 6. Wood burning fireplace in both units and 2 full baths/half bath. (Full bath in lower, Full bath/half bath in upper).The Upper unit sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms - the first bedroom is in the private loft area which offers a king size bed and a twin bed (great for a little one :) the second bedroom offers a queen bed on the main level. There is also a bed with a twin mattress off the living room. The Lower unit sleeps 5 with 2 bedrooms; first bedroom offers a queen bed and the second bedroom has a Queen bed with a twin bed (previously bunk beds). Enjoy the outdoor fire pit in the back area of the Chalet (wood provided) or cozy up to the fireplace after a day of skiing - Ski Brule is walking distance away! In the summer or Fall enjoy sitting out on the elevated deck while you grill out or just relax. The UTV and snowmobile trails are also right down the road. Iron River is only 5 miles away with grocery stores and restaurants, dispensary.
