As you enter our newly renovated modern yet cozy, bright cottage, enjoy peek-a-boo ocean views from the kitchen and living space, while cozying up next to the electric fireplace. Our living room is the perfect space to relax while reading next to the fire or watching your favorite TV programs in the plush modern leather lounge chairs. A fully stocked, state-of-the-art, kitchen with new appliances, and a convenient washer/dryer combo provide the perfect space to cook any meal. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee (or locally provided tea) at our kitchen table for two, out at the bistro table on the front patio, or take it to go while walking your pup down to beach!Turning to the bedroom space, enjoy the convenient Murphey Bed setup, allowing for a super cozy and comfortable sleep at night, yet maximing space during the day. Turn on the in-suite electric fireplace to take the chill out of the coastal air, while relaxing and ending your day. The studio offers a bathroom conveniently located next to the bedroom space and features a spacious rain shower with a modern aesthetic.Stepping out to your front patio, enjoy your own private modern succulent garden space, backdroped with ocean views. From the patio space you are only minutes away to nearby trail heads, spanning to dozens of miles of open space and only a short walk to nearby dog-friendly beach entrances. We live on the property above the cottage with our dog and are generally available in case guests require anything. The cottage is located under the top unit’s deck, but does not share any walls.Guest accessParking - Please park in the designated parking space in the driveway next to the cottage. The primary bathroom is generous with double vanities, a large closet and heated floors.The 2nd bedroom offers a queen size bed, overlooking the ocean and a private, attached bathroom.The 3rd bedroom also offers a queen sized bed and a private bathroom. We've coined this one the kids room because it's a little quieter for the kids to tuck in early!One of the many unique parts of this home is the original design. The common space of the home can be sectioned off into another private sleeping area with the sofa bed. While this area is not soundproof, you are able to close it off to the rest of the family room for sleeping and privacy.The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, but it is still close to all the amenities that Cayucos has to offer, including restaurants, shops, and art galleries. It is also a short drive to Morro Bay, Cambria and San Luis Obispo. Steps from the beach. Cayucos is a perfect beach getaway. You have a small town atmosphere with friendly people and great beaches. Our home has a lot to offer. We are on a corner lot directly across the street from the beach access. We have plenty of living area both inside and out. The upstairs deck is amazing! The master bathroom is newly remodeled. You can hear the ocean from every room of the house.
