Fab location, lovely property and great hosts. Just off the high street Carson view is a lovely period property with plenty of original features, a sun trap garden and some off road parking. The gardens were beautifully tended. The common areas of the properly are clean, tidy, welcoming and comfy. My en suite room was spacious, comfy and clean, had everything I needed for my stay, affording me a relaxed space. Breakfast was fab. Lovely choices on offer and good ingredients from local providers used. Steve and Lisa were lovely welcoming hosts.

A lovely stay , clean tidy , owner very friendly and room and breakfast first class high quality fresh ingredients. A stunning period property in a lovely little town. Restaurants and amenities very close. Would highly recommend.

We arrived on a gorgeous sunny afternoon and were offered tea in the garden. Very nice. We couldn't get booked anywhere for dinner and I asked if we could have takeaway outside in the large garden, we obviously wouldnt expect to eat it in the room. I was told no as they do evening meals there. Ok. What are you offering tonight? Nothing as you didn't pre book....So what was the issue with us bringing take away in? We were told if we were absolutely stuck then they'd let us but it was clear it wouldn't be appreciated so we drove into Peebles instead. Apparently we should have received emails telling us to book ahead if we wanted to eat out. On checking, I certainly didn't receive any email about this. The place is for sale. I think they've just had enough and it shows..

First can I just say how lovely Lisa and Steve and all the staff at Caddon House are. We got a lovely warm welcome on arrival along with tea and rockie road, beside a lovely cozy fire. The rooms were generous and very comfortable, with everything needed for a fantastic stay. Breakfast was delicious and we had plenty of choice. Sad to leave, but we will be back soon, because it feels like home.

We had the use of the whole house for my daughter's wedding bridesmaids and guests. It was absolutely perfect. We felt completely at home. Could retire to our lovely bedrooms or use the lounge area. Lots of space for hair and make up too. Steve could not have been more considerate and helpful of our needs. A beautiful hotel in lovely well kept gardens- used for some wedding photos. Would highly recommend for a group.

If we need to stay in Innerleithen again we will be back. Arrived in time to get a cup of tea and slice of banana bread which was nice. Lovely clean rooms, secure bike storage and a tasty breakfast. Great value for the money. Thank you.
