聖維克多莊園大飯店

Wir waren in der"Écurie" für 5 Tage einquartiert: wunderbar! Sehr geschmackvoll umgebaut und eingerichtet. Das ganze "Saint Victor" ist ein absoluter Tipp für jeden! Auch für Gruppen. Es ist ein wunderschöner Ort der Erholung und Ruhe; und zugleich gibt es tolle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung! Wir sind sehr beschenkt umd dankbar!

We had a lovely stay in l'Orangerie, for a week. The setting of the chateau and gîtes is beautiful and Marie is such a charming and welcoming host. We had two nights dining at the chateau, where our meal was cooked and served by Urszula, assisted by Marie. The ambience was lovely, and we were lucky enough to be seated with a lovely couple from Luxembourg both nights. The food was absolutely delicious, and not too rich, just lovely healthy looking food cooked beautifully. Definitely worth booking for the Table d'hôte if you can. The gîte was lovely and had all modern conveniences, the WiFi was very fast, which we thought was great. The only ever so slight minuses we found were the lack of comfortable seating in the lounge and in the orangery seating area. The large armchairs in the lounge are quite hard, and the chairs in the orangery had wooden arms which didn't really allow for relaxing very well. Another minus was the lack of clothes space in the bedrooms. The large bedroom's wardrobe isn't wide enough for the clothes hangers so everything had to be squashed sideways to even hang them and therefore couldn't get much in, and this is meant to be for two people's clothing. The second bedroom's wardrobe was of reasonable size but had no doors, and was filled with a big cushion and a strange contraption which then had to be removed in order to get the clothes in and then find somewhere to put the contraption. Neither room had any drawers at all, despite there being room for some. This meant we were living out of our suitcases, not the worst problem in the world but not ideal when you're staying for a week. Last minus was that for all there was a huge amount of crockery in the form of plates, and tiny cups and saucers, there were only six mugs and four cereal bowls, which when you're using a dishwasher means you run out very quickly. However, we still had a lovely week and found plenty of things to do in the area, which is very beautiful.

We stayed for 4 nights at Saint Victor La Grand Maison. I traveled with my father, uncle and aunt on a journey finding our ancestors who originated in the area prior to their immigration to Quebec. We stayed in the La Miellerie Cote Jardin which was a three bedroom apartment. We arrived late from Paris and Marie and Julie had some food items ready for us in our apartment. Le Blanc and Le Savin are only about 10 minutes away in opposite directions for restaurants. Marie was wonderful. Her property is beautiful and she was an amazing host. We went on an early morning walk around the farm surrounding her property and found some marked walking trails along the way. We stayed at Saint Victor La Grand Maison as our "home location" and took day trips from there to find the chateau ruins of our ancestors. It was such a relaxing and glorious time. Certainly memories were made. I would love to bring my husband and children back. P.S. the venue is very easy to find and our GPS brought us right there.
