Strålende service, litt kluss med betalinga og bookinga, men veldig bra service i resepsjonen. Flott, nyoppussa rom og fantastisk middag i resturanten.

Really good experience. We were 4 friends from Denmark dining at the restaurant, but not staying at the hotel. The food was really delicious and the ingredients were local. It did not look super fancy from the outside, but the inside a**osphere were cozy and nice. The chef, Michael, was super friendly and came out and talked with us. You could feel he was passionate about good food and interesting conversations. He even told us a story about how the got the recipe on the delicious chocolate cake! I won't tell, you have to ask him, but all I'll say is thank you Dave.

We booked a room to spend the night. Of all hotels I've been in, this is one of the worst. I don't even know where to begin. The front desk and the restaurant looks great. It's a good first impression. But then.. The hallway doesn't look good. There are trash in the corridor. Other guests said it has been there for days. Carpet is full of stains. On top of the door or the elevator it looks like there was a leak once. That still is very visible. But that's ok. It's not where we are sleeping anyway. Then the room. It's very bad air. There's no ventilation so the only way to get fresh air it to open the windows. Bathroom look like the last time it was fixed up was in the 70's. Its dirty, your feets stick to the floor of you don't wear shoes. The bathtub don't have a front panel, so you can see right in under it. The toilet is not attached to the floor, be careful so it doesn't fall over. Lamps and floor are full of dust. We didn't check anywhere else. The covers on the bed are dirty. There's brown stains. Also here are the carpet dirty with stains. Worst of all, there are silverfish on the floor. The ones that crawls into your clothes and baggage, and come with you home. The ones you need an exterminator to get rid of. At night the restaurant is use as a bar where people are partying. The next day the restaurant is where the breakfast is served. Only thing is it's not being cleaned between those two. There are dirty tables from the night before. Bathrooms not cleaned, with stains everywhere. At breakfast the eggs are hardly fried. They're still raw. Other food is great. Still all I can say is; Stay away!

one of only a couple motels in town its clean but very dated needs a refurb.

Terrible just plainly worst hotel I have ever stayed Shower doesn’t work and bathroom smells and has damp Rooms old and tired Small tv and staff not very friendly Breakfast greasy and cold Avoid. Restaurant is good

Beautiful entrance and restaurant with super delicious food. Entrance and restaurant are renovated recently with good taste. Warm and helpful staff. I think these people will soon renovate rooms too, then it’ll be 5 ⭐️ rating. Beds were lovely. We all slept good. Thank you. We’ll definitely stay here next time too.

I have never stayed at the hotel, but i have visited the restaurant several times, so this review will only be about my experiences with the restaurant. First thing first, i think it’s super sad the the experiences i’ve had there are so very much dependant on who’s working that day. Some of the waiters are really friendly and good at their job, but others barely say anything at all. Most of the time they don’t offer more water, they don’t ask if the food is ok, they don’t ask if you would like to look at the menu for dessert or if you would like some coffe or anything else to drink. It’s pretty normal to be offered coffe when ordering dessert. They don’t even bring cutlery if you order a appetizer/starter, and everytime i’ve done that i have had to just either use the same cutlery, or steal from the next seat. It all just feels very unprofessional. The food is great most of the time- but the size of the portions vary too much and also the taste of the food. Sometimes you get a lot of food, other times you leave hungry still… It’s also fairly expensive, and i do expect to get coffee included when i buy a main course and a dessert. Even the cheaper restaurants in Lakselv offer free coffee after the dinner, but they don’t here. Had to pay 35kr for black coffee after spending almost 1000kr on food, and i was not even offered milk and sugar. It feels a bit petty, and doesn’t show any good will for the customer. The foreign waitresses both look and sound really unfriendly- no smiles, not a friendly word from them, and no service what so ever. The lady who waited on us the last time we were there, she even had her cell phone in her pocket and it kept making sounds as she got Facebook messages… Like i said, it feels unprofessional.. An other thing thats super annoying is the spotlights in the ceiling. They shine so bright and directly at peoples faces, i wish i had brought sunglasses… This is probably the best restaurant in Lakselv, but it has potential to be so much better.
