I had reserved two luxury rooms for a family function well in advance through Agoda, only to arrive on the scheduled day and be told that my rooms were not available. The level of unprofessionalism displayed by the staff, particularly Front office Manger Mr. Mahesh Raghav, was shocking. Despite my attempts to resolve the situation, Mr. Raghav showed no empathy, accountability, or willingness to assist. His behavior left me and my guests stranded without accommodation for a significant family event. The complete lack of transparency and responsibility on the part of the hotel is utterly disappointing. I expected a certain standard of service, especially when dealing with reservations made well in advance. The refusal to provide a written explanation or any form of acknowledgment only added to the frustration. I urge potential guests to think twice before booking with The Grand Palace. The service standards and the conduct of Mr. Raghav are far below acceptable levels. My hope is that this review serves as a warning to others and prompts the hotel management to address the glaring issues in their service and staff training. I believe that customers deserve better, and my experience at The Grand Palace falls far short of the expectations one should have when choosing accommodation for a special event.
