Clean and nice.

Upon arrival we were greeted kindly by the lady outside smoking a cigarette who stated she would be back inside in a few mins to check us in after her smoke. The room was nice and appeared very clean. At 1:40 am someone began banging on our room door trying to get in. They stood far to the side of the doorway making it unable to see them when I approached the door and told them they had the wrong room. After hitting the door again and attempting to turn the knob they finally left. The next 3-4 hours there was constant slamming of doors and things falling against the floor directly above us. I called the front desk multiple times and no one ever answered. My wife and I got little to no sleep before her surgery that morning. We needed to leave early and asked about the breakfast at 6:00am and the host said it would be open then. We were done loading our vehicle at 6:10 and the lady who was supposed to unlock the food area and have things ready by 6am was just walking in, so we had to go without. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

When we booked through Expidia, it did mention that we have to talk to the property if there is a late check out, having spoken, we were surprised to find that one has to check in at lease by 2AM. I find that this is unreasonable, knowing that we have prepaid til the check it time, we should have the privilege to checkin and check out within that time period. The breakfast was a real whitewash, nothing much, the foods were not filled in a timely manner.

Comfortable rooms, nice shower pressure, updated finishes, overall good looking place. pros: comfy bed, cleanliness, AC system, nicer finishes, shower pressure, bath drain, lavatory sink. cons: tiny refrigerator, door sticks, cheap towels, TV stuck in a weird aspect ratio. The mechanical condition of the facility is dubious. Our room was on the third level, and elevator broke an hour after we checked in. The door to the room sticks, as does the stairwell doors, the door on the lobby restroom and the door to the ice/vending area. Although a renovation was completed in the last 2 years, and there is an ugly 2 inch hole in one of the tiles in middle of the dining area. last time we stayed here the boiler broke in the middle of the winter, leaving guests without hot water for days. A well funded preventative maintenance program would greatly benefit the property. The breakfast is a nice amenity, but management of the experience is almost completely lacking. The attendant is hard to find if there is an issue, and doesn't seem to be able to resolve the smallest customer concerns (where is the butter?). Works well: Waffle maker, hotbar, coffee maker. Cosmetic/functional problems: Juice machine, toasters, microwaves.

The room was not very clean, there was mold on the shower curtain, the pool was closed, the laundry facilities were broken, and the only elevator broke down. We were on the 4th floor. The room keys didn’t work half the time. The heat in the entire hotel was extreme and it melted the food in the vending machine. The free breakfast was dry and gross. This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed. We will never stay at a BW again.
