庫塔奧維傳統飯店(Wilderness Hotel Juutua)

Ravintolassa olisi suotavaa, että henkilökunta osaisi edes auttavaisesti suomea, koska olemme Suomessa. Henkilökunta oli ihanan ystävällistä ja ravintola tasokas. Huone uusi, siisti, pieni ja ilmanvaihto huono (kuuma) oli pakko avata ikkuna. Jonkinlainen taso sängynpäätyyn olisi hyvä

Siamo stati ospiti del Juutua Wilderness Hotel per 3 giorni, acquistando un pacchetto che includeva i pasti e anche diverse escursioni. Il transfer da e per l'aeroporto era incluso. Abbiamo soggiornato nella Arctic Room, nuovissima e molto confortevole. Servizio e pulizia sono ottimali. Anche la struttura principale è molto bella: il ristorante, con le vetrate che danno sul fiume che scorre a due passi è meraviglioso, e la qualità del cibo è molto alta. Le escursioni sono in linea con quelle provate in altri posti in Lapponia e le guide sono simpatiche e preparate. L'hotel fornisce overall, scarponi e altri accessori utili quando si fanno le escursioni nel rigido inverno finlandese. Inari è un posto magico per chi ama la natura. Non potevamo sperare di meglio!

Hôtel très agréable, très bien situé, restaurant parfait avec un buffet gargantuesque le matin et une cuisine raffinée et variée le soir en 1/2 pension seul bémol ils avaient oublié notre transfert à l’arrivée mais après négociation avec le chauffeur nous avons pu prendre le bus malgré tout

Had a nice stay at Wilderness Hotel Juutua at 18.-20.8.23. I had made the check in advance, so it was very easy to arrive. The room was very cozy with nice furnishing and a warm athmosphere. The view from the room was beautiful, the rapid of the Juutua River visible from the window. The room was located to a building next to the main building and the location was very peaceful. The room had its own sauna and a balcony. A small fridge and a kettle too. The only thing not-so-perfect was the bed, which was too firm for me. The breakfast was very tasty and had a lot of different dishes from which to select. Espresso based coffee drinks could be ordered if wanted. The service was most wonderful and friendly at all times from arrival to checkout. Unfortunately I didn't have the chance to test the awarded Aanaar restaurant for dinner. That is a great excuse to visit Wilderness Hotel Juutua again in the future. Thank you, wonderful experience and heartwarming hospitality. Will definitely recommend.

Perushuone oli pieni, yöpöytiä ei mahtunut. Upeat näkymät Juutuan joelle huoneesta ja aamiaiselta oli aivan super. Parempia näkymiä ei saa mistään. Hotellin kehuttu Aanar -ravintola jätti lähtemättömän jäljen. Savustettu poronpaisti ja jälkiruokana koivunlehti sorbetti olivat todella hyviä. Ravintola on erittäin hyvä hintalaadultaan.

Tradition Hotel Kultahovi has two buildings: Traditional Hotel in the main building (basic rooms) and a separate River Hotel (superior rooms). We stayed four nights in River Hotel and this review is based on it. The hotel isn't any luxury hotel but it is perfect if you need peaceful sleep, beautiful views, nature experiences, hiking, delicious food and a central location but still surrounded by a forest. We had a beautiful room with rapids view, blackout curtains, an own electric sauna, a refrigerator, a drying cabinet for clothes and a self adjustable air conditioning system (no very efficient cooling). It was very relaxing to keep a ventilation window open (there is an insect net) and both listen and watch the rapids. We saw reindeer and (almost) the midnight sun from our window, too. Our sleep quality was excellent. Beds were very comfortable and we didn't hear any noise. The location of the hotel is perfect: next to Alakoski Rapids, 100 meters from a big playground, 300 meters from Sami Cultural Centre Sajos, 400 meters from Neste Inari Juutuantörmä (a gas station with a restaurant: pizzas, hamburgers etc.), 700 meters from Gastro Pub PaPaNa, 800 meters from a grocery store (K-market Inari), less than 1 kilometer from Sami Museum Siida and Lake Inari Cruises, 2 kilometers from the big Jäniskoski Rapids. The Juutua Trail and a hiking trail to Fell Otsamo (8-9 kilometers in one direction, first along Juutua Trail and then a separate route from the Jäniskoski Suspension Bridge) start from the hotel yard. The breakfast buffet is good. They cook and serve only a small amount of food at a time. So many bowls may be empty but they bring more food if you wait. However, that may take a while. But they bring new food even three minutes before breakfast service closes. On Saturday 23rd July 2022 there were very many dishes left undone on tables. Other morning were better. Service was kind and quick. Besides, there is extremely beautiful rapids view from the breakfast room, too. Their dinner restaurant is absolutely excellent, but you need a table reservation. Hotel Kultahovi is easily accessible with a public bus. We came with a bus (Eskelisen Lapinlinjat) from Rovaniemi to the hotel. The nearest bus stop (Sajos bus stop) is situated 450 meters from the hotel and the main bus stop of Inari ("the bus station") 800 meters from the hotel. I also heard that it is possible to ask the driver of Eskelisen Lapinlinjat to drive a detour to the parking place of the hotel. We informed the reception of the hotel one day before our check-out and they called to the bus company so that the bus to Rovaniemi picked us up directly from the stairs of the hotel. What a superb service!
